I love this guy's art style; it makes him and his comics seem a lot more likable even when they say really controversial things, quite oppositely to most other political cartoons which often look like they're deliberately drawn to be as ugly as possible.

I think it's because while most political cartoonists are old enough to know the fear of death and the end of days, happyroadkill is young enough to realize that human society, or at the very least the western world, is in it's death throws. Made all the worse by a corrupt system that only exists to vainly prop up and extend the power of those that already have it while giving nothing back to the people but counter-acting promises so they waist what little time they have fighting each other rather than the corrupt establishment; only to be made into either mockery or villains by the establishment when they try to fight back. Happy sees all this absurdity and welcomes it for he has never lived in a world where it wasn't the default setting.

Other cartoonists fight the absurdity. Happy embraces it like an old friend who will gladly watch the world burn with him.
