Specifically, donations to political candidates, parties, etc. We won't be linking to the source (as it could be used for doxxing). This is not a political subreddit and as such shouldn't be flooded with said political discussion. As such, politics have been banned from the subreddit, now noted within the Guidelines Post. That being said, we aren't aiming to silence people's voices, nor are we equipped to deal with a full on political controversy within the entire subreddit. As such, this thread is to allow discussion of the topic so it doesn't have to take up the rest of the subreddit. Please keep all mentions and conversation relating to this situation within this megathread. We will keep it updated if any new information comes to light. I believe Scott is a kind man with a kind heart! That still doesn't change that he donated tons of money to a bunch of anti-LGBT politicians who would love to see people like me and my friends dead. You can be a good person and still inadvertently do bad things. I heavily doubt Scott intentionally donated to these people with the intention to f--- over trans people; that being said, regardless of his intentions, that money is going towards people who actively oppress LGBT people.
