That doesnt justify the reaction from twitter crazies, but it still happened. Vinny's attempted canceling was entirely manufactured bullshit that never happened.

The situations are nothing alike

My definition of bad person is defending known sexual abusers. I have actively stated that I think the reaction to Scotts donations by twitter crazies was bullshit and extreme. Scott just donated some money, Troy literally defended JOHN LASSETER. If you are willing to defend a massively powerful, well publicized, and heavily evidenced sexual harasser you are probably not that good a person. John Lasseter was like a step down from Weinstein in terms of how much evidence there was that he was a creep
