Presentation matters but there's a difference between rejecting a CV outright because it has no alignment or format whatsoever and rejecting it because I dared use a round bullet and not a square bullet. Why is HR so f------ A--- about these minute aesthetic concerns? It's just exhausting. They really make you feel like worthless scum because of things that are 95% irrelevant. And that's all before getting into the knowledge that despite all of this they'll likely pick a subcontinental that speaks questionable English. I hate this.
