It's like, bro, I hate Nintendo's corporate bullshit just as much as the next guy but I also hate Melee stans and don't see why I should give a defecation about your "community"

Despite the evidence presented, this is one of the first times I've genuinely disagreed with EmpLemon.

Smash Fans -- especially Melee fans -- really need to jump ship already. The options certainly exist, whether it be traditional fighting games or Smash clones like Rivals and Brawlhalla, all of which having viable competitive scenes. I'm still dumbfounded that even after nearly 15 years, they still think Nintendo will give them any sort of respect at this point, cuz lord knows how they managed to survive the sexual misconduct apocalypse last year.

2013 was the peak of Melee, and at this rate, it won't happen again. It's time to move on.
