9:36 1 Amanda 2h · O Please DO NOT eat at Flat Rock Wood Room!! We went to eat last night for Bethany and Nanas birthday... I asked what was gluten free and the server told me absolutely nothing... except maybe a salad with no meat and even then they don't like to do special requests? O Uhmmmm ok so I sat and watched my entire family eat dinner... This is the OWNER y'all! No where on their Facebook, on the menu, nothing says no gluten free options... I'm not gluten free because I want to be a pain in the butt.. I'm gluten free because I have to be! If I eat gluten l'm sick for days... I can end up with cancer, gluten destroyed my body to the point of absorbing no nutrients from anything I eat...I have to take special vitamins just so my hair doesn't fall out! Celiac Disease has one treatment only and that is DONT EAT GLUTEN!!! What a jerk! Do people without celiac have to call every restaurant they eat at to see if they have food they can eat???? NO? So why should 1?!!!! We don't offer a menu that meets those searching for numerous restrictive diets. Should we post every allergy and eating restriction ... because I hope you don't feel your the here??? Dear Anonymous Passerby, Don't worry, you're safe now! Your act of casual cruelty was successful. The complaint you lodged with the HOA was heard. They had me take down the small treefort that I built on this location with my sons during the pandemic. No longer will its presence offend your walk) past my house. Please enjoy your stroll free from the sound of my children's play and laughter. They are safely back inside now, watching television I'm sure. Enjoy the unobstructed view of my backyard.
