Hey fellow 9gaggers, I'm not sure if you know about a certain situation on facebook, regarding the memorial page for Amanda Cummings, a young girl who recently commited suicide. Apparently 4chan didnt get enough from our battle a while ago, so they decided to try again. lbl came up with the idea to troll Amanda's page, by making fake facebook names and then posting both insulting comments as well as pictures similar to what they posted here, including gore and p---. Why do we care? Because a fellow 9gagger, admittedly probably from 4chan decided to try and incite us into oining this trolling. I went to the facebook page, and saw some very disturbing things Even more disturbing is that everyone there seemed to be under the impression that 9gag was responsible for the attack. When someone accused a troller of being a 4chan member, he said what's 4chan? im from 9gag" a few minutes earlier the same user posted "4CHANNNNNN FOR LIFEE TROLOLOLOLOLOOL" so we can see it obviously wasn't true. the point though, is that everyone believed it, and though a few 9gaggers tried to help by reporting mages and convincing people that 9gag wasn't responsible, they still believe we were behind everything, and they ve supposedly reported 9gag to the FBl, as well as all the fake facebook names that added images and such My point though is that we can't let people think 9gag is a bad site, as everyone there did, or they'll shut us down. So this whole 9gag army thing, lets make sure we only use it for good causes, so that people won't see us as scumbags (which we were called) maybe personal apologies from 9gag on RIP Amanda C------'s page (public figure) and Community would help spread a better message And remember, the battle with 4chan is not as over as we'd thought. TL;DR? Please go back and do so, l think it's important. Thank you Warning: Don't be addicted to 9GAG.COM
