Give Me A Green Card refers to a viral video of streamer Ninja ranting about being unable to draw a green card and complete his turn while playing Uno. The intensity of the rant helped the video go viral, and the audio has been used in various animations.

Origin

On March 29th, 2019, Ninja played Uno online with other streamers such Tim, CouRageJD, and Marcel. In one session, he has no green cards and needs to draw one in order to play. After finally pulling one, an opponent reverses the order of turns with a green Reverse Card back, forcing Ninja to resume drawing, leading him to rant. On March 29th, 2019, Reddit[1] user FadezGaming shared the clip from Twitch, but it was deleted. On March 30th, 2019, YouTube[2] user Fortnite Moments uploaded the full clip, receiving more than 3.4 million views in four years (shown below).

On July 6th, 2020, YouTube[3] user Tadeo Zitroz uploaded an edit of the clip titled "GIVE ME A GREEN CARD | UNO," receiving more than 120,000 views in three years (shown below).

Later, Zitroz's clip grew popular as audio for subsequent animations. For example, on August 26th, 2021, YouTube[4] user Weretoons uploaded an animation based on the clip. The video received more than 4.7 million views in two years (shown below, left). On January 5th, 2023, YouTube[5] user KIWI13 uploaded an Among Us animation based on the clip. The video received more than 475,000 views in eight months (shown below, right).

On April 17th, 2022, TikTok[5] user @kirii.lovesyou uploaded a clip depicting Genshin Impact characters playing Uno. The video received more than 450,000 views in one year (shown below, left). On May 8th, 2023, TikTok[6] user @burning_gojifan95 uploaded a video reenacting the clip by using Godzilla figure. The video received more than 452,000 views in one year (shown below, right).
