Digital painting doesn't take away jobs from artists. It's just a different medium. You still need the artist.

Ai generated images literally remove the artist from the equation, while simultaneously "stealing" from real artists to compose the image.

Honestly I can't believe you think these 2 things are the same

Not the best examples, both of those still require humans to carefully craft the music and art. AI art involves a non-human machine integrating human created works into its database and copying elements from them. While a human did still have to create the AI, and humans tell the AI what to make, the AI itself still doesn't "handcraft" what it outputs, it relies on copying pre-existing material. (do correct me if I'm wrong about any of that though)
