There are two main libertarian candidates in Argentina for the upcoming elections, José Luis Espert (a bald guy) and Javier Milei (the guy in the in-universe picture). On March 28, 2023, Espert announced that he planned to join forces with Together for Change (Juntos por el Cambio, JxeC), the main opposing political party. This was controversial (basically because he criticized them all the time), and caused a drain of people within Freedom Advances (Avanza Libertad, Espert's party), the most notable of them being Carolina Píparo, his running mate, who was previously part of that very party. The fact that it was gossiped a few days earlier that he was going to move-in to that party in exchange of one million dollars given by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta with the intent of weakening Patricia Bullrich's candidacy didn't help any matters either. Anyways, one of the members of JxeC, Joaquín de la Torre, said that this was a bad move because no one really feels passion for Espert, and that it was better to get Milei on board, hence this meme.
