Most big companies are just too afraid of making anything not attached to a popular IP.

I miss when Capcom and Square would take risks even with smaller projects just trying stuff out. For example, some of the old SNES and PSX games from these companies have interesting games that never saw more than one entry and remains in limbo.

I miss Powerstone.
