I will be the defender of American values at Filmtracks.com. The concept of European socialism is based on the idea of Social Justice whereby all should be equal and all should share in maintaining an equal economic status. This is based on the concept of an Egalitarianism that none should suffer and all should be equal, however the components of this are a progressive taxation, income redistribution, and property redistribution. When you speak about income and property redistribution, you are talking about parts of the Socialist manifesto. This is what Europe does - its taxes are high, especially in the inherently weak Scandinavian countries European socialism began just after WW2. The Germans had devastated Europe on their regular schedule and left the region in ruins, especially England, which suffered major damages due to Hitler. England was helpless and nobody had anything, so the English parliament decided to pay for al Britons medical bills and even I admit this was a good idea it had to be done. How was this possible? Because one of the war's brightest generals, George Marshall, advised that since Europe was in tatters, the US should help rebuild it. This plan sent money, people, and equipment over. Today, the remnants of the failed British Empire and other parts of Europe therefore practice a form of socialism whereby nobody is left wanting. How do they accomplish it? By a tax system whereby individuals are taxed at 20% and businesses 40%, and on top this is the VAT (Value Added) tax of another 20% This VAT is a tax on goods and services, and part of this VAT goes to individuals in the form of welfare so that they are not wanting, and unlike the US where a healthy individual cannot get welfare, in Europe they can. It's broken down basically in 2 parts, those that have a medical issue and those that are looking for work. In America we have unemployment but you cannot just go down to an office and say sign me up you must have worked a specified number of months made so much per quarter and not been fired for a bad reason. In Europe, if you are having a hard time finding work, you can still get paid In the ridiculous Scandinavian countries, all of them weak by lack of intellectual advancement, it's even more pronounced. In Denmark, all the people are happy, and why not? The taxation rate is as much as 75% and if you either quit your job or are fired and somehow can't get unemployment, the government pays you 75% of what you were making for 3 years. Would this be good for America? HELL NO! The UK ended up being 19 billion in the red because of this system and when the new Prime Minister started looking into things, it was discovered that many, many Britons were collecting monies that shouldn't have been allowed. A lot of them were doing nothing except collecting every week and in one case going to the arcade and playing games. That individual should be killed, not supported. Another reason that Europe can do this is because they do not have a huge military like the United States does. They do not have the troops or overwhelming firepower of the US. They simply rely on the Americans to save them from foreign threats such as the pure evil of Vladamir Putin's regime. Our current naval vessels make European fleets look like bath toys What if Barack Obama is re-elected and European socialism took hold in America? What would be the result? The result would be a lot of people trying to cheat the system just as they did in the UK. Do we really want to be a society of lazy, cheating sluggards like the British? Our government could not handle it. The taxation would be horrendous and our deficit would be gargantuan. Our great country, the United States of America, was built on Capitalism and we have prospered to become the most mighty nation on the planet. Let us not weaken America by letting Barack Obama and the ignorant patrons of Filmtracks.com fashion it after the over-entitled leeches that populate urope (European) dafuq did i just read
