Yeah, appearantly the rules for gem fushion means a conservation of limbs.

Unless there is some special rule. Garnet just got an extra eye from the deal. Maybe it is some rule about 'synching up' or something that reduces multiplication. Maybe that is why she was psyched over stevonnie- they had the same number of parts as before, which means they were well suited for each other.
