Twitch Plays Pokemon - I was going to wait another day or two before uploading this, but what the heck! I may as well post it now!

It's possible, and is actually the gym's layout (at least if memory recalls). Get to the bottom row of left arrows and you'll hit that second down arrow. Arrows will take you to a blank block. Walk right from there and arrows will carry you to another blank block, then walk right again and you'll be carried to yet another, then just hit the far right red arrow and you'll get carried to the top of the map. It's all pretty easy if you just get to the top of the map once. You can pretty much just hold right once you get to the first block. I probably didn't explain it very well though.

Now, is it possible for Twitch to get past it?
