How do we know it was the stepbrother doing these things? What if the OP himself sent those messages, then claimed they were from his stepbrother, in order to have ammo with which to motivate the internet community against somebody he doesn't like?

I need more evidence than this to know who's the real enemy here. It's quite likely the stepbrother is an inbred waste of space, but these days you can never be too sure.
