Pretty much my biggest issue with Arin in a nutshell. Funny entertainer, sure, but geez watching him play on Grumps makes it harder to take some of what he says seriously in Sequelitis. Also it's become more and more clear he's kinda stuck in the past and seems to wish all games were made with the same design philosophies of the 8 and 16-bit eras, forgetting that as games have become more complex in terms of graphical, controls, worlds, etc, sometimes you really do need some helpful explanations of "how to do the thing" on the fly (this is actually why game manuals have been fazed out, people began reading less and less of them since most games nowadays just explain what to do either on the opening level, or as you learn new skills).

I also can't help but find it somewhat hypocritical that he bashes 3D Zelda games for being more story heavy compared to 2D Zeldas (or heck he seems to like skipping cutscenes or dialoge altogether in most games), but yet one of his all time favorite game series is METAL GEAR SOLID, a series FAMOUS for long cutscenes and lots of dialog you NEED to hear or else you'll be completely lost.
