On August 25th, 2021, TikTok user roofjesus posted a TikTok in which he approaches his girlfriend while saying the quote. The video gained over 714,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

Over the following month, the sound was used in over 106,000 videos, often as a means to either comment on a woman's attractiveness or large breasts. For example, on September 4th, user @demonspiit posted a video in which he mouthed the sound in comment towards his girlfriend, gaining over 1.2 million likes (shown below, left). On September 3rd, user @skyvp_ posted an example to comment on her roommate's large breasts, gaining over 282,000 likes (shown below, right).

The sound was popularly used among lesbians on the platform expressing their preferred type of woman. For example, on August 31st, user @twinkle.t1ts posted an example that gained over 1 million likes (shown below, left). User @sadhoe42069 posted a similar example the same day, gaining over 454,000 likes (shown below, right).

On September 9th, user @Fiajames_ posted a gender-swapped parody that used "Daddy, sorry," gaining over 446,000 likes (shown below). The sound has been used in over 4,200 videos since it was first posted.
