Dear Know Your Memers,

As some of you may have known, we have been searching for a new staff writer for the past few months, and today, we're pleased to announce that the SEARCH IS OVER! Ladies and gents, I would like to introduce you all to Ari Spool, our latest staff writer. Ari, meet Know Your Meme!

Short bio: Ari is a writer / editor who brings with her many years of publishing experience from The Stranger and Impose Magazine. Currently finishing up her MA program in Media Studies and Writing at the New School, Ari also works with digital visual arts through EyeBodega and collaborations with Babycastles. In 2013, she ran for mayor in NYC in 2014 and received a total of 16 write-in votes.

Now let's friend her, welcome her onboard and unleash the GIFraken!
