i was looking through some of the old threads when i realized something wierd with the thing that says how many posts in how many threads this weak. the top half of the image shows the counter when i was in the thread, and the bottom one when i was on the page that has all the threads on it.

Weeeeird. Have filed a bug ticket & will investigate

Look and see, the total posts are OVER 9000!

even now, if you look at the top it says:
10,313 posts in 816 threads
1,578 this week

while the main discussions page says:
2,993 posts in 350 threads
528 this week

10,333 GET!

From my experience, it just displays random numbers. Is it supposed to be like that?

i thought it was to keep track of posts but it failed at this until Kikinak brought it up

its not random, it seems to go up with each post but they just start at the wrong numbers. kind of like celcius and kelvins. (scientiffic measurments of temperature)

its probably the case when discussion activity is high… happens with counters
