Craigslist is pretty far from the best part of the internet. It's a discount secondhand shopping site where people try to upcharge you for literal garbage, and you'll soon be seeing the worst of these dumb listings from the past month, since we can't just let these things stay hidden on the second page of search results. They're too terrible to ignore, but you definitely shouldn't buy any of these things, even if they're listed for free.

Craigslist's competitors, Facebook Marketplace and eBay, are similarly terrifying in nature. While we're not saying everything on the platforms is the same as a plastic straw being sold for thousands of dollars, there are still plenty of cursed items and listings no one should ever click on. They range from DIY items that look really bad to rental properties no one would ever set foot on. These are some of our new favorites from the online hub of terrible sales, Reddit's /r/CrackheadCraigslist.
