Recently, a scare gripped social media as it was falsely reported that the infamous Hooters restaurant, which is known for the objectification of women, was closing down due to millennials no longer finding breasts attractive, being incredibly on the nose for the overall marketing strategy of the restaurant brand. Despite the rumors being dispelled, the thought of Hooters closure brought back into play a concept long thought to be dead, Femboy Hooters. But what exactly is that?

Where Does Femboy Hooters Come From?

Way back in the old days of 2019, a Twitter user called @Comfy_Times put out the concept of a Hooters restaurant staffed entirely by Femboys, and from there the concept took off. Femboys, controversially called traps in some online circles, are males that are able to pass as traditionally feminine. Basically, imagine the character Astolfo or Luka from Steins Gate, but an entire staff of them. This idea spawned several memes as a result, with people immediately picking up on the joke idea of a restaurant staffed by feminine looking boys, likely parading around in tight uniforms showing off their packages, and having thick ranch sauce.

How Is Femboy Hooters Used In Memes?

The 'hype' and popularity surrounding the concept of Femboy Hooters, which caused content creators to draw their gay OC's as working or eating at Femboy Hooters, eventually spread out to other restaurants. This saw several other establishments being used as specific fetish-pushing sites, such as Goth IHOP or Tomboy Outback, with the only limit being what restaurant chain sounds like it goes best with whatever the specific fetish of the meme creator is trying to attach to it.

There are two different ways to use Femboy Hooters within memes, either as a referential meme or a location one. As a backdrop for use in other memes, or as a setting for your own specific character, Femboy Hooters is easily used with a simple copy-paste from another meme to be used as the backdrop for whatever meme you're trying to create. Otherwise, it's easy to create a meme referencing Femboy Hooters because all you have to do is replace a different location reference in your joke with Femboy Hooters or one of the other fetish restaurants.
