The video in question was posted by a currently unknown student on their Snapchat story last week. It showed two performers wearing all-black outfits that alluded to inappropriate, extracurricular activities. Also, a man in drag was shown too, wearing a blonde wig and a pink outfit.
After the video was posted to Snapchat, a parent saw the footage and leaked the recording to Facebook. In the small circle of Winston-Salem parents, the video went viral, eventually spreading to the greater, world wide web.

Viral discourse regarding the video has mostly taken off on Twitter / X, directly following a repost uploaded by the account Libs of TikTok.
In the replies and quote retweets of the aforementioned post, many people have condemned the actions in the school, deeming the inclusion of suggestive LGBTQ+ imagery as harmful to the student body. So far, not much opposition to the outrage has surfaced.

Did The Oak Grove High School Principal Address The Video?
Since the story has broken out of its local outrage, the principal of Oak Grove High School, Stefanie Stroud, sent out a voicemail to all of the parents in the district, formerly apologizing for the event. Among many statements, Stroud stated that she was "Disgusted, appalled, upset, embarrassed, and disappointed" by the video.
