Why You Should Never Look Up 'Lara Croft Death' In GIF Search
Twitter users are being warned to never search for "Lara Croft death GIF" in GIF search right now after a Running Peter meme telling them not to do so went viral. But why exactly are users being discouraged from making this risky search? Well, we did the searching so you don't have to and here are our results.
What Is The 'Lara Croft Death GIF' In GIF Search?
Earlier today, Twitter user @ShitpostGate posted a "Peter Running" meme captioned, "Never look up Lara Croft death in GIF search and select the 2nd result, worst mistake of my life," without any further explanation. The meme quickly gained over 23,000 likes and 1,200 retweets as users inevitably refused to follow the meme's advice. But what does the search actually yield?
Well, if you type "Lara Croft death" into the Tenor GIF keyboard, used on apps like Discord, you'll find a number of GIFS of Tomb Raider's protagonist dying. But the one referred to in the meme shows Croft getting killed by a horse. More specifically, it shows a horse's penis jutting out of her mouth, having impaled her from behind. The GIF was shared numerous times in the Twitter post's comment section, but all we can show you is the censored image below. You're welcome.
Where Does The GIF Come From?
There's a surprising amount of 3D-rendered adult content about Lara Croft taking on animals. This means it's a little bit difficult to trace the exact origin of the GIF. However, it seems to come from one of a series of adult videos titled "Lara Croft with Horse." No, we will not be providing the exact sauce and we discourage you from Googling the term.
