Later in 2024, Redditor u/Aruynn_da_ASPD_being posted an image macro to the subreddit /r/MinecraftMemes using an edit of the original meme that replaces "ibuprofen" with "beef" under the caption, "Healing in Minecraft be like:"

For instance, in November 2024, TikToker @webrrsevfrr posted an animation using the meme's voiceover in which the Pokemon Pikachu loses half its head in battle.
