About
My Steak Is Too Juicy and My Lobster Is Too Buttery are catchphrases used online, often together, to mockingly suggest that someone is ungrateful and complaining about having too much of a good thing, essentially claiming that their argument is invalid and the thing they're complaining about should actually be enjoyed. The slang expressions gained prominence throughout 2025 as a reaction on sites like TikTok, X / Twitter and Reddit. The phrase seemingly originates from an iFunny comment reading, "Oh no, my lobster is too buttery and my steak is too juicy!" posted in response to a text-post reading, "Everyone wants a nerd girl till she comes out in her fantastic 4 jammies and yells it's slobbering time pre-blowjob."
Origin
On March 2nd, 2025, iFunny[1] user Andr3wTheGr8 posted a screenshot of a comment with 2,200 likes left on an unknown iFunny user's post. The post by the unknown user is a text graphic reading, "Everyone wants a nerd girl till she comes out in her fantastic 4 jammies and yells it's slobbering time pre-blowjob."
The comment, left by user Sagia, reads, "'Oh no, my lobster is too buttery and my steak is too juicy!'" suggesting that the described scenario of a nerd girl yelling "it's slobbering time" is not a problem, as portrayed, but something to celebrate or be grateful for. It is unclear which iFunny user posted the text-graphic or how much interaction it or the comment by Sagia received.

The phrases spread throughout 2025 as a way of turning people's complaints around on them and suggesting that they're complaining about something that should be considered a positive.
