Rapper Nettspend is undoubtedly next-up in the underground scene, but he can't seem to shake his alleged former fling Rhonda, also known as @rhondagdk on Instagram.
The 17-year-old wonderkid purportedly messaged her, "I got racks now Rhonda," in a series of DMs that the two exchanged after he blew up this year. This is all according to her, by the way. She leaked screenshots and screen-recordings of the duo's IG interactions but many fans, and even Nettspend himself, are calling foul play.

Who Is Rapper Nettspend?
Nettspend is a 17-year-old underground rapper from Virginia. He went viral at the end of last year when his snippet for "drankdrankdrank" went viral via a repost on X. Many people were unsure about him back then, such as X user @souljaguac, who asked, "At what point does it become cultural appropriation?"
Heading into this year, Nettspend has only accumulated more clout as he's collaborated with other up-and-coming underground stars like Xaviersobased of the group 1c34.

Who's Rhonda And Did She Date Nettspend?
Rhonda refers to Instagram user @rhondagdk. She's a teenager from Detroit, Michigan who seems to be around the same age as Nettspend.
Before her clashes with the rapper online, Rhonda spread in memes back in January when her questionable IG captions and antics gained the attention of meme page admins looking for some quick outrage bait.
In late October this year, X user @nufseyd tweeted screenshots of Rhonda's then-recent IG story. She was posting messages she allegedly received from Nettspend on the app.
If true, the messages revealed that she and the rapper were involved romantically or at least flirting online. To prove that she wasn't lying, Rhonda shared a screen-recording that displayed her clicking on Nettspend's username to reveal that it really was his account sending the DMs.

For now, it's unconfirmed if Rhonda's telling the truth or not. Nettspend later posted on his story to debunk her claims, providing his own screenshot to prove himself, which showed that Rhonda's only message to him was the automatic notification one receives when they're mentioned in someone's story.
Despite this, Nettspend has embraced the free publicity. He recently posted an Instagram photo with another girl, captioning it, "Sorry Rhonda…"
What Does 'I Got Racks Now Rhonda' Mean?
One of Nettspend's alleged messages to Rhonda read, "I got racks now Rhonda." Of course, "racks" is slang for money. He's basically letting her down easy, telling her that he's rich and famous now and, in turn, messing with other chicks.
The goofy message – as well as other sentences from the odd, possibly fabricated conversation – has led to a slew of memes online, like a Soft Irony meme shared by Instagram user @caden.001 shortly after the story broke.
