@Authoria and Cattonian Republic: Would you two like to make a trade agreement with Al Amarja? Also Cattonia I wouldn't make a trade deal with you because the distance between us was to far but with borders now so close I believe a trade agreement is now possible for us.

After I get this whole war thing sorted out, I'd love to start trading.

@Cattonian Republic
Well, if you would be so kind, I'd like to kind of work this out peacefully. I'll try to do whatever it takes to resolve this, as I'm not really in the best shape to fight right now, and I have a feeling the Madom Khanate is going to be causing trouble for me pretty soon.

I got ask are you interested in a trade agreement?

I changed my turn to add our trade arrangement.

No point. Sachielia is way too far for you to make any route, not to mention the whole "my only center of commerce has been under siege for 20 years".

I think we can negotiate something via PM.

Then forget about that deal then sorry Sachielia.

Trade agreement or just a trade route?

Spider-Byte wrote:

Both really. Also if you agree to the this then put it down on your turn cause I don't want to edit spam Cale again.

What happened to that little island off the coast of Atlantis? And are those the actual borders of Africa? We only have half of it?

To the first question; stuff.

THINGS.

To the second, what you see is what you get.

@Cale

I see you’ve been following. There are still slots open, no longer bound by the Culture rule.

Because I know you like New Zealand.

I'm thinking of just spectating, this time. As much as I have enjoyed participating in NatRP, I want to focus on other projects at the moment.

Though if I wasn't so busy, I'd make either Obristan or United Federation. Just to give the immigration officers in Arstotska more work to deal with

- Bloom forges emerge in Astora, allowing large amounts of steel to be produced.
- Astora already has a currency of coins.
- Open donation towards the needy proves… small. Peasants can give little, and the wealthy aren't very much towards giving freely. The Bright Book says "jolly cooperation", not "free hand-outs".
- A national bank is chartered and established. This novel business of holding money for others smooths the transition of currency among Astorans of wealth, and small "fees" for this service quickly add up to benefit the Theocracy.

- A rudimentary printing press is developed, though fairly crude and difficult to work with, in the long run it cuts the time and effort of producing a single volume to as little as a fourth.
- More schools are built to teach more folk. It isn't a matter of not enough buildings though. Attendance is low because it is simply not within the financial means of the majority to go off and learn instead of work constantly to survive.
- More cults or similar appear. Maybe. No one really knows. In fact, no one really knows who runs the country. All anyone knows is that every now and again, some one knocks at the door demanding the monthly tax.
- New efforts to investigate about the supernatural, as well as more secular knowledge, leads to the conclusion that any new information to be found is certainly beyond the Amarjan borders.

- The Knights of Shalour reject royal orders to play sneak-thief. No one becomes a Knight to skulk among peasants, and a Knight answers to God before his Lord.
- Instead, the usual groups of unsavory characters are sent out to fish out information. Denmark, of its own, is on par with Kalos in all but size, while France is head and shoulders above Kalos and Denmark put together, assuming they are fighting the English at the time.

- Lighter armors of metal prove a futile search, as the iron scales of Lamellar and Laminar armors are as sophisticated as can be.
- A product of the east, with a little ingenuity, comes into Cattonian hands: the repeating crossbow. Though by demand of its design it is far weaker and much more difficult to aim than the pedestrian bow or ordinary crossbow, it does have an unprecedented rate of fire and is much easier to handle.
- A Maldanian counter-attack is successfully repelled, and the capital falls into Cattoninan hands. Ambushes become common place as forces progress.
- Nationally sponsored delivery systems come into place, merely groups of horsemen to send and carry packages or messages.
- Sachielia falls entirely, as the natives flee into the east. Sore losers, perhaps, as fire and explosives are set across the capital, causing it to burn to rubble.

- Extensive work is put into the guest houses of foreign advisers and diplomats, providing lavish treatment one would see for a (lesser) Khan.
- Horlves are hunted down by the score, and soon the southern herds of the creatures are sparse, to say the least. They cannot even be eaten, for they are certainly not Halal. Even under extreme punishment, it is sometimes heard of the creatures being smuggled east.
- Forces are retracted from Persia more open areas where the extensive Horsemen of Madom have the advantage. The Persians do not take the bait, however, and instead head through the eastern mountains, where horsemen are unable to effectively deal with Persian Archers and infantry.

Okay, that was actually super surprising and hilarious.

- Across Europe and North Africa, children gone missing are reported in scores, mostly young boys, but the occasional girl or babe is gone too. - A token force of ships is sent far west to explore the waters beyond the Emerald Isles, long thought to lead to the edge of the world. However, an interesting turn of fate occurs; foreign ships surround the commercial boats of Kalos and force their course north, where they are led to make port on new shores. Their hosts, a people with strange features, though speaking a distinctly Norse language, introduce themselves as members of the Court of Kaldrvan, and say that the fleet was heading for extremely dangerous waters, home to nigh-unstoppable monsters. - The Zonker people finally produce an acceptable mimic of Greek Fire, near unquenchable flames produced by a thin liquid.
- Printing becomes a reality as movable type and ink-blocks appear in Zonker hands.
- A classical Aristocracy is instituted: rule by the best and most talented individuals.
- Expansion over areas of the Silk Road have the Zonkers profit from taxation on goods passing through.

So I'm currently trying to find a means of expressing how I'm feeling about the Moklaezian's actions, something along the lines of 'why' and 'could you not do that'

I'm getting nowhere in that regard.

Would anyone mind helping me properly articulate my emotion towards this situation?

You know, I seem to remember that all my current problems are the result of one nation's very rude invasion. I wonder who it was……OH YEAH.

Note: This is in no way a formal declaration of war. Please do not invade me and attack with pointy things again.
On another note, would the Cattonian Republic care to trade with poor old Sachielia?

You can have all the manure that our beautiful, well-fed cows produce, to use as fertilizer.

I have noticed that none of the Heirs of the Sun have access to mass printing. If you feel like controlling your people enlightening your people with the truth of your religion, the Zonkerites would be happy to mass produce your holy book for export.

Wouldn't it make more sense if I was to trade the secrets of printing to them then having their books exported from across the map? Plus my printing machines are updated. So if the nations of the sun are interested in trading with Al Amarja for the designs of the print machine just put it down on your next turn.

Just forget this post please I wrote this one while I was still half asleep so I wasn't thinking straight. instead I'm offering the same deal as Classic Rock, but only to Astora, Authoria, and Cattonian. Sachielia to far away for me to even make any sort of deal with.

Also sorry for the doublepost but I felt that I needed to clear up that mistake.

>"A Message from Novgorod demands that Mokleazia move against Kalos and Authoria, claiming that since Moklaezia enticed the Republic to take Kalosi Finland, they are obligated to assist."

Saying "the shit hit the fan" would be a huge understatement for what just happened.

I've had two opposing parties approach me, either one asking me to attack the other. Saying this is getting fun would also be an understatement.

The outcome to this situation could go either way depending on which choice benefits Arstotzka the most, I know saying this has probably damaged my trustworthy reputation but then again…trusting Arstotzka is a risky move in itself

I like how we all conveniently ignored the fact that pyromancer pedophiles are probably stealing children.

In response to the pyro-pedo's. I can only imagine that Al Amarja is cooking up some nasty shit.

@Al Amarja,

I've been meaning to pay you back for the printing tech from earlier, unfortunately I don't have the tech you requested right now so this one will have to do.

I'm sending you Superior Infrastructure, hopefully you can put this to some good use. Expect further techs to arrive in the future, Arstotzka does not forget it's dear Al Amarja

Haha. Some pryomanic pedos shows up and right out the bat everyone thinks that the small nation of heretics, outsiders, and general weirdos is responsible. Well ever considered that just maybe we're about as stumped about that as the rest of you. But I will admit that's one mystery most Al Amarjians would most likely try to investigate.

@Arstotzka

Thank you for that and in good timing too since we are planing to boost our defenses since World War 1 is pretty much inevitable.
