Ah, Pheonix, one of many current lurkers. You always know what to say. Now, to any other observers, SHOW YOURSELVES! I know you're there. As for the anthro, I mean like humanized ponies, no "medium". Also, NEW PAGE! Does it seem like the more pages we have, the less posts we can fit on it?

Sigh. Your guys’ posts are making me all sad. It’s hard to enjoy this fandom when so many bronies talk about how much they’re not interested in the show anymore.

Huh? Who said that? I sure as hell didn't, the show is even better now I reckon.

Well yes, but it seems to had a large effect on the show's creators. I can vaguely remember one of the creators saying they were inspired by those old shows from the 80's, 90's and (most recently) the 50's.

@ospse
Hory shet. Thats awesome.

I would like to see if they make some good power puff girl references.
@Phoenix
That drawing is epic win!

I don't think anybody said they're not interested in the show anymore. The thread has lost its initial appeal to some of us, and we've discussed pretty much everything into the ground, but we still love the show. Well, at least I do. I don't know about everyone else here.

@Ideo
You WILL love Jappleack

Sad Jappleack is best Jappleack.

Holy shit that's not edited either….well I guess Jeapplack is not such a big shot she act like she is after all…
Well I still like the forum and fandom still make my heart warm, I just got things I need to concentrate on that's all.
@Gamzee Makara [SwAg]
He hates America too? Well go figure.
Just ignore him and thumb him down, see if some one can ban him for disturbing us with his images.

I just feel that applies to many creative endeavors. I like to see the special features on DVDs and usually a lot of directors will say "I was inspired by X" or "I drew a lot of my style from Y" so I don't think it's all that strange or new or even exclusive to MLP FiM.

For example, Adventure Time constantly throws references to old videogames.

I do not LURK kind sir.

I watch over you, at all times. Not in a creepy way like a stalker but more of a benevolent big brother and only in public areas and at appropriate times

You mean Opspe? I haven't posted any images recently…

so this new troll guy is going around calling us pedos and furries and hating on America…what we gonna do about this?

Um…….contact the mods?

@Burning (aka Ed Harris)
Well that is true. Is it because all great works of art are inspired by other works of art? If all great works were inspired by other works, then what inspired the first great work?

He has been warned and a part of his images have been removed.

As for the images remaining: It's gross and disturbing, but not rulebreaking. So just downvote it into oblivion and don't comment on it.

About the user: Like I said, has been warned. But don't respond to his comments anywhere, let him rage his part but don't fuel it. Seriously I can't say it enough, don't fuel the trolls.

OH GOODY.

It's true! All my old friends are coming back!

I missed you.

Now time to go investigate what that troll's been up to.

I also played through some of Minenesia: The Block Descent. It's not as fun since it's all lit up and there are no monsters. But there are some inventive traps.

I lol'd

Wattaup everyone?

@Nemesis

This "I Love Lucy" reference is quite a coincidence for me. I had only heard about the show from name, untill I went to the Universal park on my trip to Florida and saw there a whole area dedicated to it. That's where I learned about the plot and how popular it became in the 50's.

At first I though it was Caramel and Macintosh, then I checked the tags.
I am now aware that the Bronyshow's ponysonas look like smaller versions of Caramel and Big Macintosh.

Well, Pipa's gone. I geuss the beatings worked. And Cite, that's the best Scratch human I've ever seen. Luna's gonna kill me for liking it………………
As for Greg, call me Pyro. It fits me better.

@badsitrep

I don't think I could ever worry much about the bills either way, but I think congress just realized that they couldn't get their trap pr0n like they wanted if it passed.

But that ain't pony.

I watched the I Love Lucy parody with no real focus (i.e., once as opposed to multiple times.) I knew vaguely of the reference, but I don't think most Bronies know much about Lucille Ball. They probably know her name, they know Ricky, they know "Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do…" and Lucy's crying on the show. So the reference isn't lost, but isn't quite appreciated. We are a geeky fandom (implying that a fandom could not be geeky.) We'd get Star Wars and some other references. I Love Lucy is probably the reference we're least likely to appreciate.

And now that we're about halfway through, my doubts about the show are completely gone. This season would have to be consistently less than mediocre from here on out to not have outdone the first season.

Oh, Connor. I'm changing my username to Brevity, changing my avatar to Awesome Face, and will only post three words per post.

Hahaha…but seriously f*ck brevity, yo.

@badsitrep

You…do know what a trap is, don't you? They're all over 4chan. Can't really blame you if you don't go there, but I'd figure you'd be in the know for teh lulz.

I'm probably missing your point. I do that sometimes.

Also, the final kp-shadowsquirrel outfit!

Unless there's a Fluttershy outfit. I never remember what she does.

@Ideological

I never liked Lord of the Rings. I like some of the references and memes from it, but I was never much for fantasy.

Just did a search.
Now I know what it is.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Hope you didn't use an image search.

Here's some Flutter Freeman. Or something.

I'm not sure what happened. But I wouldn't mind Morgan Freeman being a guest voice actor for Fluttershy in FiM.

This little piece of HHHNNNNNNNGGGG here remembered me about the lack of Scootalove the produces have been having in the show. Applebloom had already three episodes focused on her and Sweetie Belle got a trophie for most DDAAAAAAWW episode, but poor Scootaloo has still got nothing. They better be planning an episode for scoots this season, or else I'll go mad!! (loljk, just very upset).

Oh, and I also searched for trap pr0n Verbose.

Blind Guardian is sweeeeeet.

Also I think I'll leave this here…

Oh and speaking of references to T.V shows that are old as balls…

One of these days, Luna…
