I started lurking here many months ago for many of the same reasons as lolstaz there. But I finally joined so I could comment on this. After browsing around for a while, I found the thread (just after #3 started), and I've been here ever since.

I started my account long before FiM came about. I just lurked then, and not in the forums. I was more interested in the articles, but I never commented. I also didn't visit anymore than once a week. But memes have always been interesting to me.

I happened by one day and saw a Pinkie Pie gif. I learned about the fandom and how nice it was compared to the rest of the Internet (supposedly,) and decided to post in the comments. It worked out well.

I'm not going to get into this with you. I'm gonna be the bigger person and stop. Your arguments are nothing more to me than a mere annoyance. Easily dealt with. But I'm getting tired of it. So, from now on, every negative post or bad thing you say, every sarcastic remark, will be ignored.

@Pyro: Don't be like that, Citation certainly didn't mean anything harmful by his post, he was simply pointing out something in a typical Cite fashion.

X, it's impossible for me to hate you. Or anyone here. I just think Cite's little ways are kind of……….well, if I say it, I'll get negged to f@#k. You guys are friggin saints compared to the people I have to deal with every day. I can detect sarcasm relativly well, but Cite I find a little hard to read. I can usualy read people pretty well when I'm calm.

I actually found KYM back before it was owned by Cheezburger. But that was also around the time my computer got a virus, and it always got worse whenever I visited this site, so I stopped. I lurked FailBlog then Memebase and other Cheezburger sites. Then there was pony day on memebase and I noticed that KYM was part of Cheezburger so I came. Then I became a brony from the article. Then I lurked for a few days. Then I made and account and talked on the comments then came here. I've been here since page 33 of thread 1. AND I WILL NEVER LEAVE!

I wish moar real trolls would come here to the thread. So we can destroy them.

I know that feel Pyro. Most of the kids at my high school are jerks who just bucking love pop and rap. I don't know if it's the culture where I live but it really gets to me.

I post here because I'm actually a troll. I don't like ponies, I just wanted to find out how you guys worked. I even spent many many hours making the Forza decals to penetrate the Xbox live brony communities. I am actually a reporter from Fox News. We are doing a 1 hour special called " Bronies are homo queers"

Berry, are you drunk again? As for the arguing, like I said, I find it hard to read Cite. I have a friend who's hard to read. Ultimate pokerface. They both have it. No matter how much I study them, I can't detect any indicators for their intentions. And about your current drunken state, I really hope you can understand half of this.

No need. X-singular got it. But you know how you can get angry and hate people outside of the thread, but not always get downvoted for it? It's because of that ability. Most people who have strong opinions are just shot down immediately even if they have reason behind it.

I came to KYM for the memes originally. I used to lurk a lot of Cheezburger sites (about a dozen different ones on Memebase and Failblog), and was only vaguely aware of KYM. When they put the KYM link on their pages I started visiting more frequently. It was here that I learned about bronies, and well, I think you know the rest.

My first post was a failed attempt at blending in. Rather than openly introducing myself or anything, I just made a post where I tried to convince people to help out in the DrawBall Wars. Ah, the DrawBall Wars… they were some good times… (If you were wondering, we won)

Edit: The first comment in that link was 'Ponies, ponies, ponies, SWAG'. So... much... nostalgia...

@Verbs: Well I don't think they are. Imo, pop is rubbish. No real talent or message. And rap is just…..wrong. Songs about violence, hate, drugs, sex. No…….just no.

Not all rap is about drugs and violence and stuff. I personally think this song is a good example and an amazing song. I mean I personally listen to rap for the wit in the lyrics and interesting rhymes rather than what they're actually talking about. Also a lot of other music can be a lot worse than rap in the lyrical subject field. Just search "Devourment" on youtube (if you dare).

I'd just like to respond to whole thing about people like myself posting exclusively in this thread. I read this thread almost every day and only have anything to add here every 3-13 days. This is probably why I almost never have anything to add to any other threads, as much as I may try. I sometimes I'll take a look around the rest of the site, but nothing tickles my fancy. Did I mention I hate forum games?

Does anyone wanna SynchTube in about half an hour? I know we did last night, but I'm pissed off and need to rant and/or watch ponies.

As for my beggining here, It all happened when I watched some videos on Youtube explaining about memes and stuff, and decided to check their website, KYM. At first I just seldomly lurked and went here to lol with the funny pics. Then I realized there were ponies everywhere in the site, and noticed how popular they were (that's on the days the MLP page was 24/7 on the trending bar). I went to the pony page, saw lots of catchphrases, demotivationals, pics and went to watch just to see if I could at least understand all of that.

Obviouslly I ended up loving the show and decided to create an account to interact more with the bronies here (and put the "Love and Tolerance" thing to test). I firstly started not doing much at all, just some pics and conversations on the Comments section of the entry, because the forum was used to make image wars (ah, good times). That of course untill the day the Great Entry Flame War exploded (I was on the "chill out dudes!" side of it) and we had to move here. Then I just started posting some more, join the debates, get to know more about you guys…

And that's how my KYM was made.

Pyro and Lyra say just ignore them. Sit back, relax, and watch their futile struggle. I might be up for synchtube. And, to avoid any unnecessary conflict, I will try to avoid saying anything stupid in the chat. As for Greg, that's basicly mine. I found out through YouTube. Things get a little different from there. And I will stop with the insults. I just hope the argument doesn't perpetuate.

Welp, I started off on a yellow site called "funnyjunk". As time passed, it turned green. Then grey. But, at its most recent color transformation, THEY came. I saw a bunch of pony stuff, both on frontpage and some getting -2000 thumbs, so i looked into the conflict, starting with pinkies song, by fluttershy, to the tune of "fuck shit stack" by reggie watts. I liked it, then moved onto the anthology. I WAS INFECTED. Recently, i became open about my bronyism, and actually started watching the show. Before 2012, i was knew the fanbase. But i did it. I watched every episode to date STRAIGHT. Now, i watch em as they come, like the flim-flam-cider one.
