@Connor

I'm glad you're skeptical. I saw "Twilight computer" and exploded.

But I think it's legit. The deviantArt page isn't brand new, but it could be a somewhat elaborate ruse. I'm looking at the rest of the images there, and none have anything to do with Pony. The rest are just random stuff.

In fact, there was a comment on the first one that say the person running the deviantArt page just runs the page and doesn't make decisions.

My brain must be really fucked up to think of the Human Centipede when I see that. The worst part is, I'm okay with it and I'm laughing.
As for the questionable legitamacy of the laptop, it may just be a leak. Maybe it's a troll. Maybe it's a fan-made project. No way to know until later. So I shall wait.

It's probably a digibash. A prototype, if you will. Companies use them to test color palettes before a final product is made. Transformers use them to test the consumer's reaction to a redeco. Or for a new head in the case of a reetool.

A comment from the dA:

"Normally $300, but as we mentioned, "My Little HP" is a family and educational laptop. A laptop that isn't meant to be pimped out with chrome inlays or solid gold 6GB RAM cards… metaphorically.

"Basically, this is like any other educational/learning laptop (Fun controls, designs, and software programs that grab and hold the attention of children) but at the same time if Parents or whoever bought the laptop didn't have a possibly more expensive alternative, they could use this to do taxes, type documents, etc. It's not just wires and a screen like in other educational family laptops."

I don't know much about specs, but for $150, I'd buy that as something to browse the web with.

$150? Oh, see, now I'm convinced it's a fake. There's no way they would sell a laptop for that cheap, even if it is intended for educational use. It's also funny how their "Official" DA account has absolutely no links to their actual website.

Edited to include memetic reference.

@Plats

But seriously, welcome! I'm the resident Pyromaniac and Luna worshipper(don't worry, I'm an okay guy.). Enjoy your stay!
As for opspe, I think it's a prototype. They're testing the waters. It may not be 150$ when it comes out, but it may turn out to be real yet.

@opspe

I don't doubt what you say. $150 for a functional computer is cheap. Like I said before, it's only been up a month, but it's not brand new, and it's not strictly brony-related. But it could be a somewhat elaborate ruse.

I'll see what I can find though.

EDIT Your link, sir.

However, it's odd that it was hidden in the journal entries…

Well, it's that time again. Time to dump the R34! Now where's Berry, I'm sure she'd be happy to join us.

Speaking of R34, I got comissioned for serveral pics. Blood, Gore, violence and R34 stuff. I didnt want draw stuff like that but I just cant say no to money. Time to go hate myself for whore-ing myself out.

Conor, show him the profiles. That way he'll know what's coming, and his reaction won't be this.
As for the R34 dump, if he's really been a brony that long, then he knows about it. He'll be fine. Might want to link instead of embedd to avoid rage from the others.
@Spits That is a side of Mlp that we may not like, but we must know about it anyway. I personaly have no problem with that form or Rarity. It represents greed and its effect.

We know you were joking. Some people (no names, but…..) take it too seriously. As for my response, I was going along with it.
EDIT: What kind of gas? My favorite kind (gotta love gasoline), hydrogen, xenon, helium, what kind do you speak of?

What? Me? It's hard to tell if somepony's joking online so I wasn't sure.

Ok, I've lost interest in nap time and am working to figure out if this HP dA is legit.

  • It's been up for a little over a month.
    • Only a month? Surely, dA would have jumped on dA sooner than that, right?
    • Then again, perhaps dA didn't cross their minds. They do have a Facebook and Twitter, but those are more popular and obvious than a site for art. Also, maybe they had this exact situation in mind. Get an intern. Make a page on dA where bronies whip out their arts all of the time. Get in good with the brony that helps run EqD. Get the planned FiM stuff on the site. Have the brony put it up on EqD. ????? Profit!
  • Katy Perry is in their scraps folder.
    • Yeah, that's professional.
    • And then again, it was a performance at the HP Pavilion. And the comment focused on the HP aspect of it:
      • all from the most Technologically advanced concert stage in the world!
  • There are no links to the HP site in the info.
    • Really? You can be serious.
    • There are some links in the journal entries. The entries seem very relaxed, and there are quite a few spelling errors, but then again, "Habsro, Inc." was actually Hasbro. Mistakes happen when you just have an intern doing things.

The facts say troll, but I'm not sold yet. I'll still be looking at it.

Connor, my friend. It has been like a month and still you neglect my brony bio.

I wasn't aware it was invitation only.

False anger and silly jokes aside, hello my friends!

I see you haven't run the forum into the ground since my departure. This pleases me.

Of course, I never doubted the forum is in capable hands. You are all so splendid.

Also, welcome to the forum, Platinum. You are an exceptional metal.

Owens! Welcome back. As for the running the thread into the ground, don't get too comfortable. I will be the one to set the thread on fire. Just wait. I will mess up eventually…………..I was ominous just then. Could you tell?

Damn, mom said the shopping would be quick. I forgot that 2 hours is a short time for women.

So what you guys done while I-

I kid, I kid.
As for fanservice, it's always good to know that they care about us and recognize our devotion, but I really doubt they feel pressured by knowing we bronies are more watchfull than the original public. They are still making the show for little kids, so they'll do it as they have planned, we like it or not. The thing with Derpy (and probably The Doctor this episode) was no more than a hint-hint towards us.

The Dr. has returned! Speaking of women, I have a story:
A man was to receive a wish from God. He said, "God, I have family over in Europe. I'd love to visit them, but I hate water travel. Can you make a bridge over the ocean so I can just drive?" God looks at the man and says, "That would be an engineering marvel, and costly. Are you sure you can't make another wish?" The man thinks for a bit and says, "Okay, can you at least explain women to me? How they work, what makes them tic!" God thinks and finaly says, "How many lanes do you want, two or four?"

All kinds of gas have (roughly) the same number of particles per unit volume, assuming constant temperature and pressure. The separation between particles is enormous compared to size of the particles themselves, so the size of any gas particle should be considered negligible. The type of gas therefore has very little effect on the volume it occupies.

The number of particles in a gas is given by n=(PV)/(RT), where:

n = number of moles of particles (1 mole = roughly 6.02×10^23, I think)
P = pressure, pascals (N m^-2, if you want to get technical)
V = volume, m^3
R = Molar gas constant (8.31, JK^-1mol^-1)
T = Temperature (K)

I just helped you learn physics. You're welcome.

Hi, welcome to the thread!. Did you lurk here before posting? If not, you might want to check the brony bios that Connor has collected. They give a brief description of pretty much everybody here. A good way to get to know everyone is to join a SynchTube chat, which hopefully will be happening tonight.

So, is anybody up for SynchTube tonight?

@Owens

He returns. I'll add you later, I've just been too doing stuff to do stuff.

I was actually thinking of having a TF2 fest tonight. I can and opspe said he could, I'm guessing that pyro can and that some of the bronies from the steam group could join in. Anypony wanna do that?
