Okay back! (Man that red head chick is a real bitch in the show and that kid is like whipped or something).

But back to the point!
Honestly….why are so many people so obsessed…over ME!!?!!? AND WANT TO RAPE ME!?!?

^GAMZEE CALLED ME THIS!

I AM NOT A WHORE! I AM BE A BIT UNSTABLE BUT NOT A WHORE!

I HAVE FEELINGS YOU KNOW!!! D':

Have some sad Dash.

And like BSoD said, we are talking about ponies. We get on the edge of things and speak of meta topics, but we're not far from ponies if we leave the topic. To be honest, I think we're more on topic now than we have been in the past week or so.

As for Robert, you don't have to get it. You can be scared. Citation is weirded out all of the time. But essentially, it comes with the territory. Logic can be the same while values are different. You come to an entirely conclusion.

Ric, you're a wanted man on KYM. As long as you still know you're with the broneis (yes, Iamslow,) then I will be proud.

@thread

On the whole, I am proud. So proud…

Did we scare Ivan off or something? Why am I getting ever closer to a retroactive page GET?

Okay. Where does this "broneis" spelling come from?

I took it from a troll's misspelling of bronies on their devient art account and entered the last synctube party we had saying "hello, broneis!"

And the rest is broneis history.

There's a difference between "being new here" and "not showing up at the last Synchtube."

@opspe

I never really liked the word "Brony." I was ready to move on to something else. And I usually overstate my attachment to certain things to offset my otherwise plain nature.

  • Like my obsession to earn Kalmo's respect
  • My dislike of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy
  • My dislike of Ponies standing on two legs

And a few others.

Oh, I'm going to go ahead and post that questionnaire for you guys to take. I'll leave the link on my profile, post it once on the thread, and post it once in the comments of the KYM article. Just need to figure out how that poll system works on Google docs.

opspe wrote:

I know but I like that image.

Also I mentioned broneis about a half hour before the synctube in the thread lol. "Broneis" is the plural form and "bronei" is singular.

Carry on as you were my fellow broneis I have things to do.

Hey guys guess what?
DERPY WON THE HEAL/HURT THREAD ISN'T THAT AWESOME!!! our little bab….reads thread
Oh right.
Who cares about Derpy, psh, bronies and their over-reactions, amirite?

For some reason I feel compelled to pronounce "bronei" with a German accent. And one thing I would add to that list, Verbose, is so-called "ponification." Phrases such as "everypony" still irritate me to no end. No offence to anyone here who uses them.

So we're broneis now? Hum, this can become the thread's inner joke

….

ALL WELCOME OUR NEW KYM BRONEIS OVERLORDS!!

And Scoots has just become 20% cooler (and manlier)

I am my own fetish, deal with it.

Why does she stand on her hind legs? When we get drunk, we end up on all fours over a toilet. When ponies get drunk, they stand up. There you have it, pony reactions to alcohol.

Last edited Jan 31, 2012 at 09:06PM EST

Well, I suppose some ponies stand on their hind legs when drunk. Octavia stands on her hind legs though, and she's as classy as they come. She has her drink on occasion, but she usually stands on her hind legs regardless.

Speaking of which, that tumblr seems to have come back from its hiatus, which makes me happy.

OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH! That is so awesome!. This calls for a Pinkie Pie Party!

….

I mean, that's lame. Deadpool should have won. But seriously, I think it would have never happened if it were not for those trolls who expressed such massive disapproval of Derpy's existence.

I was not going to vote for Derpy. I wanted to support Goog Guy Greg. But then I saw the Haters screaming "DAMN THE INFECTION" and I simply could not resist the trolling opportunity.

I noticed that it was when the trolls made their bold announcement to destroy Derpy, thats when everyone started healing her like mad so I was not alone. The trolls really made a bad move by drawing so much attention to her.

So Derpy ended up with over 100 HP in that game, just like Pheonix Wright did. My point is that I think it happened thanks to overzealous trolls rather than overzealous Brony's

And for the record. I'd rather not call myself a Bronei. I'm sticking with the traditional spelling

Evidently, the trolls never read rule 19 of the ROTI. The more you hate it, the stronger it shall become.

From the newest Homestuck update.

Poor bastard. Had to go and get all tangled up with your brother's crazy, complicated life.

As for the other one…

You are a studious popculture scholar of all eras. A sharp critic of that reflection in the mirror we hold up to our society. You seek truth in the vivid mosaic made of our most shameless obsessions.

Your interest in these cartoon ponies is strictly academic, ok? No, seriously.

What?

……

OK FINE, YOU LOVE THIS ONE PARTICULAR LITTLE RAINBOW HORSE UNIRONICALLY, IS THAT SUCH A CRIME.

She is so spunky. <3

Hey there Gamzee, welcome to the thread. I'd say run away before we scare you off but I think you'll fit in here very well.

Gamzee's used the thread before. He's a brony.
On another note, my friend told me about that Homestuck thing. He's not a brony, but he reads the comic, and he knows I'm one. Anyways, as it turns out… the character who's a brony is a gay.
Now I'm not sure if Hussie was being nice and throwing us a shout out or being a homophobic asshole.

Shush, I'm just being nice to Gamzee, he's my buddy. We've been through hell and back, and several awkard KYM ship-fics. WE SHARE A BOND! I'm kidding, I actually didn't know he's used it before. Ah well then, my folly.

Edit: And I doubt there were bad intentions in the whole MLP shout out thing.

Edit2: Someone has decided to downvote our recent posts. I guess I have an excuse to give out free karma then. Here you go everyone. FEEL THE LOVE!

My friend who told me about the thing in the first place said that. He reads it regularly. Like I said, I don't, so I'm not sure. But it's not like him to lie about that.

hes as straight as a boomarang

A CBC challenge involves getting on EqD and since Muumi and Gigatoast are not in the competition that task falls to me.

Since I'm a lazy ass bastard and can't be arsed to do more than the bare minimum of work, I thought long and hard and found the easiest way to get on EqD: A shitty youtube poop-lite video.

So here you go, with the added bonus that Rainbow Crash gets fucked up my Granny Smith multiple times.

@Phoneix

Or better yet why not take the questionnaire we're working on and see if Seth will put it in a Nightly Round-Up or something? That way, it won't be a post all about you, but you'll be a part of it. I don't need to have my name on it. You can put your name on it.

But that requires me to finish, and this is requiring a lot more copy and pasting thanI foresaw.

OR, you can give me that option. I'm playing CBC for the other, better team.

Indeed. As well I. Shot in the dark may just work.

I don't feel comfortable doing that without actually doing any work. If you have give me some work to do, I'll do it.

Though I wonder with all the surveys and Questionnaires on EqD, if that will have a chance either?

Yeah, I think opspe would be a better option after all. He forsakes unnecessary statements of truth for the objective at hand.

However, I still don't want to give you something that you'll put your username on while I'm tired, so if you have a faster plan, then go with that. But if you do want to wait, then submit it along with some text saying that it pulled from a lot of other surveys and added to them to make a bit more comprehensive of a cross-sectional survey without being too long. Which is actually what I did.

Also say that it is for the purposes of KYM. If Random or the other editors find something interesting about the results, then it could be used for the main article, which would give it it's own meaning. (i.e., We didn't have to rely upon the methodology that we aren't able to check.) Again, it expands on the items from other surveys and adds more freedom and choices, so it should yield better results than other surveys.

burning. You should just totally, like…quit.

I was actually joking. I wouldn't want to do it for the same reasons as phoenix. Somehow I feel like that's going to be one of those challenges that doesn't get completed.

opspe wrote:

I support this notion.

Without any of the fanfiction writers on our team, its the closest option available to achieve that challenge.

It might just be possible to make it work so long as the right questions are asked and that the poll does not ask questions that have already been asked.

[edit]

Never mind.

@Verbose: Well, I suppose I could submit it if you're comfortable with me doing it, and tells me what other info he wants me to submit. Actually what would be best would be if you prepped the submission, and then forwarded it to me so I could send it in. And if you keep me on as data analyst I can say that I've contributed to it.

@phoenix: Yes, a thousand times yes. And don't forget lolstaz.

Well, the thing about the social sciences…it's not so much about posing something completely novel as it is selling it as having a novel purpose. Time has changed, so the community has changed. This questionnaire isn't to label the community. It's a census.

Also, you can ask the same question a different way and get different results. Most of the previous surveys relied on items with categorical responses. A lot of these are ratio level data. It's also offering more options from which people can respond. And yeah, the religion item seems to be completely new.

Personally, I'd just like to ask KYM before I took it anywhere else, but since I had the opportunity to help, I thought I'd offer it. But I'm glad to not have to throw it out there before piloting it here first.

OK OK OK. I can put together something. Like I said, I'll need to do it after I've slept. I could go to sleep now, but the WWW is so much more interesting than my dreams. And I don't have class tomorrow.

I'll let you see what I have, and we can go from there.

I'm also going to try something:

===

That probably is just three equals signs. Meh.

Also, Ponibooru seems to be running slowly. I wanted to add some color to my post, but Ponibooru wouldn't cooperate.

Here's a little something.

Verbose: We have two weeks for CBC, so if you want to pilot the survey on KYM, by all means do so.

Random topic: I assume you guys have been seeing these Human Confessions? What do you think?

Personally I find that one rather clever.

opspe wrote:

I've seen thumbnails and tags with them. This is my first time looking at them. I don't know much about fine art. So the person prefers to see amateur cubist artists over the style of FiM?

<img src="http://img.ponibooru.org/images/b292007939882fd051be132a105522fc/122587%20-%20artist%3Akitsuneymg%20cello%20concert%20electriccello%20Octavia.png" height="500" / >

I kinda get it, but I can't appreciate it. But it seems to be that comparison that we've avoided: How does the show's attributes compare to other show's attributes? This is just a matter of personal preference, but I suppose it's true for him/her. I'm not really sure how it's a confession though. I wouldn't feel ashamed to say that, even as a bronei.

But maybe I'm missing it altogether.

Can Lolstaz pump out music in two weeks? That kind of stuff takes time.

In fact, even Muumi or Gigatoast take a good while to get quality stuff out. Two weeks is a short time frame for anyone.

@Verbose: It sounds like you are missing it altogether. The point of Human Confessions is that they're the reverse of Pony Confessions; they're meant to be read as if they were written by ponies observing our world as a TV show. They generally have a pretty interesting view on things; the people making them are trying to mirror some of the weirder Pony Confessions that we as humans have produced. Stuff like this:
