a random question real quick: how does everyone do that thing with the lines breaking up your post? i tried to look up a list of textile commands, but that particular action wasn't there.

True fax aside, did you mean that line ^ up there?

You can make that by hitting enter twice (and placing no characters on that line you made by hitting enter the second time,) inserting 3 hyphens, and then hitting enter twice again (making another line with no characters) before beginning your new text.

I might also suggest the Textile guide RandomMan made a while ago. It works for a lot of stuff in the forum and some things in articles. Beware of Russian Rickrolls though. THANKS RANDOM.
 
 
 
Also, one trick I learned to make more space between your paragraphs (like above) is to hold down Alt, and then press 2, 5, and then 5 again, and then release Alt on a new line. It'll look just like a space, but the text recognizes it as a character, so you get a bigger space between your paragraphs.

It's the difference between the space above ^ and the space below vvv.
 
Also, come by later in the 24 hour period. A lot of us chose not to see the new episode until it aired on TV, and I get the feeling we're going to explode. Maybe more than once (but less than thrice, because that would just be plain ridiculous.)

Anyway, I think Dr. Brown might appreciate the Twilight episode the most as a more subtle hint. First, Fluttershy and then the best episode.

I got the Livestream up. Mom, brother, and the foreign exchange student are down in Milwaukee for the entire Valetines day break. Just me and my dad here, and he's a lot more lienent on rules. So, I'm watching the livestrem.

I'm actually not sure about this new Twilight episode.
I like fanservice, but this episode seems a bit too fanservice-y. Time travel and Twilight going crazy with worry.
This seems like something that could make a good episode but destroy and reliable canon or fanon.
I bet in the end it is just going to be a big prank on Twilight. That or Dr. Whoof will become canon and the entire show will focus around him for the rest of the season.

I actually said the same thing about Lesson Zero, and I still think it had concentrated fan service in that episode (Sonic Rainboom for no reason upon impact and not upon breaking the sound barrier,) but it still turned out to be one of my favorites.

I hope there isn't any Dr. Whooves reference. That would be a little fanservice-y (and I assume you were being sarcastic about the Whooves being the focus for the rest of the season.

And I doubt that DHX will whip out seriously crazy Twilight so soon (14 or so episodes…so soon…)

But Twilight is an A-Type. She's gone crazy before Lesson Zero (Swarm of the Century,) so this isn't out of her character.

Well, that had its parts. I'm glad I waited for it, but I can only hear so many pet names.

I kinda wonder what the fuss was all about though. It was a nice episode that was funny. Maybe it was hyped up so much, because people saw it on a Wednesday night instead of a Saturday morning.
 
Also, I get the feeling that Hasbro has EqD by the horseapples. More than I think (which I think is "they got a cease and desist order a while back.") What my foil cap says is that Hasbro kinda sorta owns EqD.

Oh yeah, I daaawed many times and I liked the song. I wouldn't say this episode will be one of my favorites this season, but I enjoyed it well enough.

And I'm really looking forward to that new episode with Twilight time traveling. Honestly I'm pretty indifferent to the idea of a Dr.Whooves reference, though It seems like one will kinda be inevitable and yet while I see how they could give him an important role in the episode, I assume that Twilight will be so good at magic in the future that she will be able to time travel herself without the Doctor's help.

I also would really, really love if they put the Doctor on the episode, but as Connor pointed out, I guess it be too much fanservice. Derpy was more than fine to me.

Well, that was alright I guess. It had plenty of funny moments in it (most of them coming from Sweetie Belle, who I swear had a different voice this time) and we got even more screentime for secondary characters. It did get really awkward really fast though. I know it was completely intentional by the writers, but… let's just say I'm overcome with the sudden urge to find a new avatar pony. Big Mac + uber-sappy pet names = omgkillitwithfire.

Highlights:

• 'I think we're gonna need a bigger envelope' LOL, you don't say?
• I thought the song was pretty good. It had a few hilariously unpredictable lines in it (see: strange obsessions with jelly. lolwut).
• Cheerilee gets more lines and some actual character development. I approve.
• Big Mac gets more lines. I… I don't even…
• Sweetie Belle's sudden outbursts. Many lulz were had.
• It had Scootaloo in it.
• I loved that scene where they discover they made a poison, and Applebloom develops some ridiculous disaster scenario. You gotta love it when the CMC screw around with each other.
• Big Mac can pull houses without even noticing. That's pretty f*cking hardcore.

The moral was pretty interesting: 'you can't force two ponies to be together'. As they said that, I felt a disturbance in the fandom, as if a million shippers cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced…

Also, what was with that ending? Did they actually start dating? Was it just a joke? It's like the ending to Inception all over again! Curse you ambiguity!

Overall, I'm gonna give that episode a 7.5/10. There were some really funny moments in it, but I've never been a big fan of any CMC focused episode. I don't mind them when there's focus on just one of them (Sisterhooves Social, Family Appreciation Day, Call of the Cutie), but when the entire group is the focus… I don't know why, but I don't like them that much.

More importantly, have you all seen the plot summary for the next Twilight Episode?

I'm looking forward to that one so much it hurts. If it's anywhere close to Lesson Zero or Return of Harmony 2 tier, I'll probably end up being hospitalised from bouncing off the walls too much. It sounds like it'll be a seriously good episode.

As for the episode, I loved it. It was funny and I didn't mind all the baby talk. We need more episodes like this.

It was a great episode, sure, but it's only so damn popular because Luna. I'll never understand the obsession with her….

Also, I saw a story on EqD. OC story. Who is suspiciously similar to Gigatoast's. I would link it, but it would take forever to track the link down because PS3 browser. It was called Shadow of Something. [Shipping] tag and R63. I didn't actually read it, I'm just going by the description.

Luna is just that awesome, and as for Dragonshy, I can't watch it, granted of course it features mah favorite, Fluttershy, but yeah, I got a bit irritated that she yells at the dragon after Rainbow Dash bucked him in the face.
