Mornin. In a 1 and a half hour study hall cuz of exams. I am bored. I see I didn't miss much when I went to bed.
And Al, Ideo say he prefers to read rainbow factory over cupcakes. Rainbow Factory. That's some heavy shit right there. Cupcakes is Winter Wrap-Up compared to that. It's more of an emotional terror than Cupcakes, which concentrates more on gore. No wonder he's depressed most of time.

Seriously? I read Rainbow Factory ages ago and I didn't think it was all that bad. It was definitely better written than Cupcakes, but everyone was so badly out of character that I just couldn't buy it. Honestly, I've read worse than that in some Fallout: Equestria chapters. The only grimdark that ever really got to me was Sweet Apple Massacre, but that's because it strays into territories that even Cupcakes wouldn't go near (I won't write what happens here, but just trust me when I say it's even worse than torture and cannibalism). It's one of the most poorly written fanfics out there, but it's so graphic in it's descriptions that I found myself unable to finish reading it.

What I meant was that Rainbow Factory concentrates more on the pychological aspect of grimdark. Yes, they were out of character. It may have been better, but I still laughed. For some reason, Grimdarks don't bother me.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of grimdark but I follow a few grimdark blogs on tumblr and I've read Rainbow Factory (which I personally thought was pretty good).
I've never read cupcakes but I kinda skimmed it once and once I listened to a reading of SAM but I didn't finish it 'cause it was just disgusting.

But even that version didn't get a whole lot of attention, from what I could tell.
