Well, Bob, I threatened the thread with vid spamming, there was a discussion of grimdark, and a game of battleship. Just the usual.

You really shouldn't get frustrated when Tumblrs don't use your suggestions. They often get hundreds, and can only use a select few of them. Usually they'll only respond if they think they can work with it, so a lot of decent suggestions will be discarded.

Anyway, getting noticed in the brony community isn't something you can force. Spamming questions at other blogs definitely won't help. The only reliable way to get followers is to spend a crazy amount of time working on your art/music/writing.

I would submit drawings to my blog but I don't have a tablet and I can't get my scanner to work. So I'm stuck. How fun……And I'm not being negative. Just disappoint.

And Ideo, stop being a downer. Everyone doubts themselves once in a while. I doubt my sanity. I doubt my choices in friends. But do I complain? NO. I don't. I keep my problems away from you guys cuz I don't want sadden the thread.

Not to seem too negative but I'm starting to have doubts about my blog. If I can't upload any art to it then how can I make it become popular? My apologies if I was negative.

Always loved that song. I am amazed how well they did the song. I also love how it proves that not every brony is not some white nerd.

It of course depends on the type of blog.

If you just repost art you find on other blogs and sites, you have to be lucky to become popular. As those blogs come in millions.

Ask blogs greatly depend on the art. Do you draw it yourself? How's the quality? Or do you just repost and make text answers? How original is the idea?

Informational blogs greatly depend on the updates. What articles and information you update and how often is a large factor. Adding your own opinion sometimes helps, but this also depends on the type of subject you discuss and the arguments you use.

It's mostly text answers. The story is slightly based off the Silmarillion and Middle-earth but witha few differences.

Wanna draw and get people to watch ur stuff? Skill level doesnt matter, but get a scanner or tablet.

It's alright if you don't want to. I just watch the world change(Not always for the better. It's fun to observe and laugh at the failure). I don't often interfere with the foolishness of society. And I'm watching Jack right now. 2nd season, the one with Demongo, the Soul Stealer.

Someone linked me here. Please don't take offense if I don't reply to your particular idea. The thing is I get anywhere from 50 to 200+ ideas from users/anons per thing I post. Usually when i begin to scroll if I see something that works with what I have in mind in terms of story I just roll with right away (this is why I have anons as well as normal user quotes in the gifs).

As for drawing with a tablet: I don't have one, everything I make I draw with just my mouse. I started learning to draw when I got into mlp in september of 2011 (before that the last time i drew anything was wayyy back in high school). So it's never too late, just draw stuff, post it and ask for critque on ponibooru or whatnot :)

As for you dx11, I don't know who linked you here, but thanks for your help. But don't worry, it wasn't related to your Tumblr in particular. Ideological was wondering a while back why his Tumblr didn't get views. So we suggested him to visit other Tumblr Blogs more often and hope he perhaps gets mentioned there. He sometimes just gets a bit down of it, which is understandable. That he used your blog as an example was just a coincidence.

But it doesn't happen often that we get a visitor here, so if I may take the opinion to ask you a question. You said you draw everything by mouse, but how do you get that old school bit style? I can't help but wonder. I'm not an artist myself so you have to take that in consideration. I mainly fix the articles here.

Howdy y'all, sorry for not posting for a while and missing so much (what, 30 pages?) I'm getting ready to go back to university, and I haven't gotten around to this thread.

Anyways, I bet I'm about 20 pages late on this, but new episode. Baby Cakes. WTF.

It was such a good episode… until the end. Seriously, did the writers go on strike or something, and they had to fill it up with a bunch of plot holes? Really now, the babies' superpowers completely ruined the canonity (yeah that's not a word is it) of the show. Pound Cake can suddenly fly perfectly well for extended periods of times, and carry a full grown mare with him? Poor Scootaloo. Pumpkin Cake has full control of her powers, and can even fly and levitate stuff without any training at all? That's better than most unicorns, such as Rarity.

I can think of a couple good "reasons" how this could have happened:
1. In the 1 month cut off in the episode, somehow the babies gained superpowers.
2. They are destined to be the next Celestia and Luna, and so are 1000x stronger than normal ponies.
3. Celestia, somehow allowed Mrs. Cake to have a virgin birth, in the vein of Jesus (uh-oh, I'm getting in trouble here with the analogy, aren't I?), of these babies. They will soon become great spiritual leaders or something.
4. A cop out explanation of how "oh, as babies, they're light enough to fly, and lose that ability when their body outgrows their wings" or "surges of magical power." With the second one, a surge should be more controlled, like how Twilight turned her parents and the teachers into a bunch of random objects. NOT FULL CONTROL.
5. The writers have trolled us.

Until they make another few episodes making sense of the massive plot holes in this one, I'm not a happy camper.

Twins – I agree with you, the development of such strong powers at such a young age was…troubling to think about for me too. I'm tending to agree with your second postulate; they seem to have powers almost rivalling those of Twilight and RD, which would seem to indicate that they're destined for greatness. But saying they're the next leaders is a little bit of a stretch, because they aren't alicorns, and alicorns seem to dominate the royal family.

That or the writers are trolling.

As for the kids, I think it might be that powers and flying might be the result of their age. Their bodies are still growing rapidly, and excess energy might be the result of growth. When the growing slows down, then Pound will be unable to fly and Pumpkin will have a harder time preforming magic. Kind like the theory of babies having a high IQ until they reach a certain age. Then they slowly grow, then when the brain undergoes rewiring during the teens, they have a quick opportunity to develop skills before the window passes. It's like concrete. Put impressions in it before it dries.

I draw it using a custom plugin via flash that lets me set the width/height of brush to make it look like a pixel (and spacing between each pixel depending on x/y axis to allow the 8/16bit look). I also animate everything in flash (well except the DJ Pon3 one, that I did in flash and then went over in after effects).

Hey guys, I drew this for BSoD (although it's really late because of scanner issues). He wanted me to share it with you all. Here's an example of my skills.

Hell, better than I can draw. I can't draw worth crap. I can probably draw something half as good in about 2 weeks. Then it's a whole lot of editing and redrawing until I end up with what I started with: NOTHING!

If that post passes…all I can say while I still can is…that I love you all and I enjoyed being in KYM, despite the flame wars, the trolls and the hate that might of been target at us…we are still a family, a fucked up family with fucked up tendencies…but that is how every family on every website is on thew internet….Us bronies will be crippled in multiple of ways or maybe destroying the fandom…not only ours but all..the trolls are feeling the same way even if they do not show it. You all been great people to me and I thank you all, for all this, for all you have given. I'm unsure if we will meet like this again…but if that bill does pass..everything will not be the same..not only on the internet but also on Earth….

Please let us sit and look at the sunset, and let us feel the joy we did and we already have with a uncensored internet…because we possible took it for granted…
