Anyways, I was pondering about this for a while. I'm not 100% sure if anyone mentioned this earlier, but if Windigo are winter spirits that feed off of hate while changelings are creatures that feed off of love, then both of them would thrive in the brony fandom. Bronies are an endless source of love and tolerance while haters are an endless source of hate (duh!).

Basically, Hasbro was on course to make money this year but decided with the economy in a recession to cut back on over 100 employees.

Of course, firing people requires severance payments and these payments totalled over 11 million dollars. If it still had those 11 million, they would have made over 8 million in profit for the first quarter, which would still be down from 12 million the year before in the same quarter but still a profit.

And with GI Joe, Spiderman, Battleship and the Avengers coming out this year, Habsro will be rolling in the dosh and investors know this. Since the shares dropped on Monday, they've almost regained their value and it's still the middle of the week! Good news overall.

There is some bad news though, Boys section sales were up but girl's sales were down. I don't know what other Girl's brands Hasbro has but it doesn't seem to be doing well.

No way, I'm sticking with my earlier minific where Rarity's grandparents on her father's side were upscale Manehattanites who retired in Ponyville, and she picked up her mannerisms from them.

Quite true. My reasoning behind this is simply that I don't really prefer the idea that Rarity is somehow inauthentic. I'd rather think that she had someone in her life who greatly influenced her to be proper, make the bed right, adore fashion, idolize Canterlot, etc. Not that I'm Cereal or anything; Fluttershy is clearly best pony. But, I still like Rarity, so there you have it.

As I said, its probably due to her background with the nobility, but Season 3 may have some revelations concerning that. Thinking about it, they probably wanted stereotypes (Texans, German-accented, British-accented, and even the Really French-accented Griffon (whom I can't recall the name)) So Rarity's formal accentation and manners may just be the show's way of manifesting a higher-class fashion designer from our world: European and regal.

How does the pony noblitiy come from? On page 99 I already established some comparisons to real-nations, but, a summary:
Nobility usually emerges after civil war or anarchy and a clear display of power and support is made.

Seeing as these ponies obviously owe their loyalty to Celestia, why do they allow these nobles to even exist? I mean, what's their role, and also, how did they come to be? Periods of pony civil wars? And to keep this power, one must be ahead or outlast their rivals, so each family is obviously pitted against one another in this situation. So are there any dealings and deeds done outside of the pony-public view?…

So apparently hive-mind insects like bees produce this royal jelly crap to feed to their young, it's got lots of weird hormonal properties including the ability to turn any larva into a queen with enough consumption and exposure.

So I figure since changeling are insects they could produce their own royal jelly with it's own creepy magical properties, and well…

Here's a question, what do changelings do with the people they replace when they infiltrate a community to feed? What if they sent them back to the hive to be processed and turned into more changelings? Could that be how they reproduce?! D:

And what if Chrysalis used to be an alicorn like Celestia who was transformed into a hive queen by the changelings, and she was trying to do the same thing to Celestia when she invaded Canterlot? (hence the cocoon) And why was she rounding up everypony in the city with the intention to 'control' them? It fits a little too well.

Maybe I'll do some comics or something about this, we're going to need lots of fanon to tide us over until next season. :D

That seems to make sense, but my one point of contention is that there is no reason to think that Chrysalis was herself must have been an alicorn before (if there was a before) she became the changeling queen. After all, every last one of them seem to have the wings/horn combo.

Think of all the consequences, possibilities, and everything that can come about from it. Think about whether you will REALLY want it when you're much older. Think deeply about it, because it's more or less permanent.
