KYM Pony General V: We Just Don't Know What Went Wrong

Well, maybe alicorns are the only species of pony powerful enough to warrant being turned into a queen. All the other changelings are roughly the same size as your average pony, but Chrysalis has the same proportions as Celestia.

I think thematically it makes sense anyway, her fall from grace is a bit more tragic that way. Besides, alicorns have recently been downgraded, so it's not as big a deal anymore. (Alicorn FCs are still outlawed by the mary-sue police by the way)

I petitioned the Mary-Sue police to outlaw unicorns and pegasi so it's easier to exterminate them because earth ponies need some love.

I mean, earth ponies are the best. O'viously.

True, I see your point. If you were going to make any pony queen, it very well should be the most powerful you can find… And that makes for some interesting questions to ask (like who she might have been before).

Here's a question, what do changelings do with the people they replace when they infiltrate a community to feed? What if they sent them back to the hive to be processed and turned into more changelings? Could that be how they reproduce?! D:

And what if Chrysalis used to be an alicorn like Celestia who was transformed into a hive queen by the changelings, and she was trying to do the same thing to Celestia when she invaded Canterlot? (hence the cocoon) And why was she rounding up everypony in the city with the intention to 'control' them? It fits a little too well.

Maybe I'll do some comics or something about this, we're going to need lots of fanon to tide us over until next season. :D

I'm against tattoos, and this is no exception. Because when you realize Twilight isn't the tattoo you've chosen, you'll cry tears of pain and desp long after FiM dies (it could be 30 years from now after 32 seasons or so or at the end of 2013,) you'll still have that tattoo.

And people do get tired of the show or come to feel less strongly about it. I'd say get a charm or even some piercings, because those can be taken out, but the trouble of getting a tattoo off of your person is a true hassle and then some.

Guys, we all know MLP will end sooner or later, so what will you do when the show ends?

I will still be a brony by heart and always will be, however I will change my profile a little. Replacing my OC pony with a human one and basically my old pony version of myself will be more of a mystical pet. I will hopefully be still on KYM dicking around.

I will not leave the fandom, I will still be part of the secret brony hood, if a just as successful pony show comes around.

Demoman is technically British. Because of the way the country is established, Ireland, England, and Scotland are all part of Great Britain, technically.

So, instead of being British, people from London are English. Instead of being 'just' Scottish, demoman is English.

I'm optimistic enough to believe so, even though it's highly unlikely. I think the fandom will live on past it. Because legends…

I wonder; with all the things the fandom has established on the net, someone in the future is bound to find it all. Someone who watched the show when they were young, and wanted to revel in nostalgia.

Finding the remains of what the fandom has done would be like unearthing some lost civilization; and potentially, the person who unearthed the lost fandom will be entranced and awestruck by that which entranced and awestruck us.

If this happens, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom could be born again, under a new generation. All of this could happen again, and be better than ever.

Actually, whales is part of Great Britain. Ireland however is not. Northern Ireland is part of the UK though.

By then, the Internet will have hopefully moved on to something else. It's a great show and all, but the community is really what sets it apart. If the community is gone before the show, I'll pop back by for some nostalgia, perhaps, but there'll be a point when there's something else in its place. And if we don't move on, great, we'll all stick around with this fandom. I can find no drawbacks.

Well, think about it…

FiM might have eight seasons, but what's stopping Hasbro from making a new generation. MAYBE in the same setting and all as FiM, with different characters.

Speaking of which, that was a fandfic idea I was screwing with in February. Totally forgot about it…

Yesterday my roommate caught me posting on this thread. Now he knows everything.

Fortunately, he just said, "It's fine, I understand." Then he recommended the scifi club here, which apparently has a lot of pony fans. I doubt I'll take his recommendation, but that could have gone a whole lot worse. Not sure what his friend thinks of me though.


This also means I don't have to hide my awesome wallpaper anymore.
