Doctor Who fan here and I cant wait for the next season.

Currently I have no favorite show on, I just watch some of Discovery, The History Channel and Comedy Network. I wish Conner Gas was still on, or they could show a bit of The Red Green Show.

Personally, I don't think TV or Movies nowadays are as bad as people make it out to be. On TV you have Mad Men, Dexter, breaking bad, it's always sunny, workaholics, generation kill, six feet under and others that were out within the last five years that were really good. With movies you have shutter island, inception, blood diamond, the incredibles, ratatouille, No country for old men, there will be blood, lord of the rings and many others.
I like MLP just as much as the next brony and I am quite the officiando of movies and TV from before my time, but to say that MLP is the only good thing that entertainment has to offer nowadays is just Ludacris.

Oh, I really miss Dexter. Too bad I stopped following it after Season 2.

But lets see… I ain't following any series at the moment. But I did used to watch Heroes, My Name Is Earl (god, I miss that other one too) and House.

But I agree, there's plenty of good stuff on TV and movie screens these days though I don't watch as much TV due to my videogame obsession I still manage to follow the Game of Thrones series, IT'S JUST FULL OF AWESOME!

I also watch as much documentaries as I can even though History Channel has went to shit but Discovery has stepped in with Greatest Tank Battles which is an awesome show but it's a shame since the budget of the second season really went down in comparison to the first and it shows in the CGI.

Oh, I know not everything is bad, and there are several shows I watch on and off.

I'm just saying that, of those shows, MLP is the best. Because many, many shows are very terrible, and the commercials kill watching most stuff on TV for me. I know a lot of good movies come out often, but the last time I went to the theater was to watch Inception with two friends.

I haven't gotten a movie since my birthday after Avatar came out, when a friend got it for me.

The quality of shows and movies has gone somewhat downhill, that much is obvious. With channels like TLC being around, and ESPN turning into an ad-fest with two minutes of sports between four minute commercials, and all the other shit we have to face.

Of course I was referring to shed.mov and magic.mov. The rest are (mostly) harmless.

Meh, I don't really watch much TV, since I don't have cable. I do have Netflix though, and when I'm not watching some random movie, I watch (old) Spongebob, the Fairly Oddparents, Avatar, Rugrats, Futurama, Mythbusters, Lost, 24, and some other stuff.

Also, I regret to say that I've watched pretty much every episode of Family Guy and American Dad, even though I don't like them at all, because my roommate is stupid.

I really need some new stuff to watch.

I think you guys can agree to disagree. Your perceptions of what is gross and vile is skewed in very different directions due to your upbringing. Take a moment to realize who you two are arguing with. You could easily end up arguing to infinity how gross Magic.MOV really is.

Hey everyone! I'm sorry for bringing the Derpy's change situation again, but you all must see this:

THIS SITE (CLICK ME) contains a theory made by an user called EBeck about the Derpy’s modification in The Last Roundup. His theory says that the e-mails sent to Hasbro that resulted in Derpy’s change were NOT sent by worried parents, but from an organized anti-brony group who targeted Derpy (yes, he has several logical proofs of this statement).

EBeck is also starting another campaign to fix Derpy, that, differently from many others, SEEMS TO BE WORKING. His theory is one of the main reasons why Derpy Hooves has a chance of coming back as a main/side character in season 3

Read the theory (and don’t go TL;DR on it, please), and spread the word to other bronies, please.

Also, I'm not ashamed of my rustic roots, I just feel there is a time and place for everything. I don't have dress boots or cowboy hats nor do I want those. That attire is for posers. I personally wear Justin basics and Justin hats. They are plain and nothing special, but by god do they get the job done. I hardly clean them. So when I go somewhere nice, I rather wear my good clothes, not some muddy boots that haven't seen polish in months and a hat that reeks of sweat. Is that a crime? You don't see construction works wearing their hard hats or their steel toes when theyre not working. That's what I see western attire as, work clothes. I am not ashamed! You are a shit talking mushroom and I hate you….

I invited MisterDude to bring that over here so he can get more constructive feedback about it, please give him that if you can. On the MLP comment section, his post was more likely to get swept under the rug of other posts than actually get some input.

I have to say my point of view is largely unchanged and I point back to all our previous discussion as well as Verbose's posts on the subject. But I'm going to bed so I'll hold my comment for now.

I agree that the derpy wound is healed, but there's still a big and visible scar.
EBeck himself said that the entire Love and Tolerance attitude isn't as valued after the incident as it was before it.

And also, the simple fact that HATERS tried to destroy Derpy just to make us mad is something that makes all the campaigns to save her a lot more valuable, since she was "accused of a crime she didn't commit".

I still think it's worthy to keep trying to fix the problems that happened before. We still have a chance.

EBeck also made some claims that Hasbro has some derpy episodes in the works. Unless he gives us some actual proof, I refuse to believe anything he says. All his claims seem to be unsubstantiated.

No, trolls did not convince Hasbro to change Derpy. If any single induvidual claims to have convinced Hasbro to do this change, then he or she is simply lying.

A lot of people complained to Hasbro, those who provided a real address and name got to be part of the change. Petitions, complaining on FB, Twitter or whatever else, did not do this change.
Sitting down, writing a letter, using gasp a pen to Hasbro made this shit happen.


Stop focusing on this. Find something else to do: fap or start learning music, go skydiving. doesnt matter. I remember that time my friend punched me in the face 5 years ago. First, he said that Hasbro was, indeed, going to pay attention to the next complaint letters, making a troll attack be harder. Maybe another troll attack might not happen, as you said. But we cannot preview the future, we can't be so sure about that.

Second, he said Hasbro MAY bring Derpy episodes; it's not 100% true. Also, it wasn't exactly him, it was one of the users of his site.

Third, that's the problem with most theories. He came up with it based on a logic. If you don't agree with his logic, that's a personal opinion. You don't need to agree with everything you see. But I still believe that his theory makes sense. Try to pay close attention to it before you say anything.

Hasbro does not have a way to know if a letter was written by an angry parent or by a troll just by looking at their calligraphy. Just because the letter said "parents such as you", it doesn't mean that the complaint was written by one.
