It looks there is something fishy in their business model, they charge you for every life you use in the game.

Price: .99 for the app and lives to play the main game are $5-$112
5 = 30 lives, 112 = 1 000 lives and 200 cookies that are game money to buy things in the game.

So not Gamer Gate related, but censorship related Fox Latinamerica cut 4 minutes of the Deadpool movie to make it PG 13, then claims the movie is a PG 13 movie and say they didnt censored the movie.
Past year they did the same to Kingsman, you cant get the uncensored version on Blu Ray or DVD, only the censored is being sold in latin america.

I think the game itself looks pretty cool, and I would like to buy it as soon as I can, even though it has been censored some (I thought the petting game would be kind of fun). If the you feel strongly enough about the censorship thing, then buy it used.

The good thing about free market, is that people that does what Anita and co. says, will lose tons of money and will be forced to change.

Don't kid yourself, she dropped them because she knows she won't win. All she does now is to make money. She draws attention to herself to get more money on patreon, because pretending to be the person all of Gamergate is out to hurt is very profitable.

All she did was dress that post up in a wall of 'oh poor me', and 'it's so hard being a woman' just to make it sound believable. She's just a really bad liar.

In her "game," she claimed that inspirations for it came from her own experiences with depression.

After actually playing the miserable pile of code, and taking into account everything that she's done over the course of her "career," that was proven to be false.

In all likely-hood, she never experienced any real depression, and lied about the whole thing. It was all a ploy to garner sympathy (or whatever she wanted) for a game that was anything but.
If she experienced anything at all, it was not depression, but simply having to live with herself. Something akin to conviction of the soul, but her being herself, that simply is not allowed.

Twitter's decline is primarily due to the fact that most users can't really get involved. It's great for celebrities and companies that have tens of thousands or millions of followers, but @Pokefan96 is lucky to get a few dozen and anything he posts will just be like pissing into a sea of piss--lost in the millions of other tweets that no one reads. After a couple weeks of this, he gives up and spends his time elsewhere.

Facebook, meanwhile, connects friends and families together and allows long-term discussions and bonding to occur. Pokefan96 may still only have a few dozen followers friends, but he likely talks with them and comments on their content daily--and they with his. Thus, he stays on Facebook and they make money.

It doesn't really have much to do with Gamergate's rise or the evil patriarchal harassing microassaults.

You know i was being sarcastic and joking about this, right?, they blamed Gamer Gate again for something Twitter itself caused.

I think it sucks that a bunch of people are out of a job… but it shows you just how behind the curve GT was. You can't have 20 people running a YouTube channel and expect to stay afloat… the costs are just too much.

Also why is that guy being so rude about it? I'm not familiar with him, but he doesn't seem to have any sympathy whatsoever to the people who lost their jobs. It's not their fault that GT went under, it's Defy Media's, the holding company that owned them. They were the ones who didn't cut costs and reshuffle the format of the company.

Welp, he made a rant about the site a couple years ago that he used some footage of at the beginning of the video I showed. He also leveled criticism against them in years past also, such as when he reviewed Dragon Age 2 and noted how the GameTrailers review for the game had a lot of Dragon Age 2 advertisements surrounding the video for it, and was unsurprisingly given a score of 9.2 (despite some serious flaws, which sounds pretty unethical to me).

While they may not be some clickbait, agenda-driven site like Kotaku or Polygon, some of what they've done with reviewing is certainly deserving of criticism. I just wish some other select sites would have gone before this one.

Things like GameTrailers are why I am pro-GG. I definitely don't like how the politics is presented, but I also don't like reviews being bought and paid for, or at least seriously influenced by ad revenue.
