If there is going to be an email campaign or any campaign whatsoever. It should be over hackneyed translation efforts like blade and soul's or the fact that it is a general trend for skinship mini-games to be removed/heavily altered from japanese RPG's in favor of nothing replacing it (i.e Mugen Souls, criminal girls:invite only, etc.). I sincerely doubt there's going to anything useful coming from a campaign based on fire emblem only as opposed to a campaign against the general trend.

If we're going to pay real money for a game, we expect the best that can be offered. If we settle for less then it means the industry can start charging us for games that have basically nothing in them. It is very important that we make sure industry leader's don't forget to pay attention to who they're letting alter and localize their games.

Good point, we should protest about bad localizations in general.

Look, Fire Emblem Fates is the straw that broke the cammel's back to me. But I saw it before, Xenoblades censored outfits, the removal of the alternate outfits in Fatal Frame. All those cases are a symptom of a bigger disease.

Now, you might wonder why I take this so personal. Well, imagine you are a surgeon, and you hear in the news that a completelly fit Japanese girl was disfigured by the means of plastic surgery to make her look "More American", and not only that, some of the surgeons in the hospital know very little about anatomy and hane no license. Don't you think it is fucked up already? Well, it gets worse, The hospital director ordered the surgeons to sew her mouth shut and cut one of her arms for the sake of "intersectionality" because it was ableist for her to be a normal Japanese girl.

When people reacted at a girl who would envy Deadpool's face, because her face is now vaguelly human in an attempt to make her "Fit for all cultures", the hospital director said on Twatter that it was not about health but about intersectionality.

Well, I am a surgeon, one who wants to have children.

This analogy means that I am a translator who wants to make a video game of his own. And seeing this localization horrors is disgusting to me. Not only that, people are saying I am accusing people of being SJWs with no basis, but one of the Treehouse employees using a Twitter handle called @alisonrapp said that intersectionality was the importat thing on video games. She IS an SJW. One who is injecting her views on a works SHE DID NOT CREATE, and is not the only ethical violation here.

This localization was unethical and unprofessional, and I am not just a weeaboo saying so because a mini game was cut, or a purist saying so because I consider games should not be localized. No, I AM A TRANSLATOR, I am a professional in one of the essential parts of localization,

I was taught by my mentors in the art of translation that translations and localizations must be accurate and faithful to the source material as the language barriers allow, specially literary translations and entretainment localizations. Adapting slang is translation, adapting the possition of the writing to fit Western languages in stead of Japanese is localization, explaining or adapting pop culture refferences is translation and localization, altering a poem in order to keep the metter and rythm is translation (Poems are one of translator's biggest challenges), cutting entire conversations, cutting content, changing names, deleting scenes, editing character backgrounds, changing character ages or clothing, recoloring a character's clothing, hair, skin, et cetera, removing game features, altering symbols. Those things are neither translation nor localizations, those are cuts, that is censorship, that is wrong, that is the work of a poorly trained and unprofessional localization team. I ma not just a guy crying censorship out of my ass, I am a professional on the field who learned what not to do.

For les than that Hayao Miyazaki sent a katana with a letter saying "No cuts" to a Wester film studio which intended to make minor modifications to Princess Mononoke.

Let me gve you two examples. When A Clockwork Orange was released in the US, the last chapter was removed because in it Alex decides to reform by himself after maduring, the original author intended to make that symbolic, but the retarded NY editors decided it did not match with the trends in US, eventually the most cultured readers found out and preferred the editions that respected the author's work, not to mention the author was not pleased with the changes.

The other example is the Okami series, a series which was a true localization challenge because it is basically an adaptation of all that is Japanese culture and mythology in a single game. However the localization team was respectful and they decided to stay as loyal to the source material as possible. The result, a masterpiece. And in order to explain the cultural context they included explanations of the myths that inspired the game on the manual.

Other example that I just remembered while writing this is Way of the Samurai. A game which is set in feudal and post feudal Japan and respects most if not all the source material. Heck, there is even a sex mini game in Way of the Samurai 4 which has a lot of cultural symbols, for example a turtle which needs explanation.

This explains a lot. Guess I know what to include next time there's a big thread of butthurt about the comments section.

In their defense, Riff-Raff is our ironic shitpost parody board.

Anything and everything gets made fun of there. If you can't deal with it, the board isn't your forte. That's why we try to keep stuff that goes on in there actually there. Of course no model is perfect. If you can accept self-satire and handle some jabs, you're fine.

It's not some declaration of war.

Remember how that worked out? Was that because the GamerGate time machine was used to send robo-sealion death commandos back in time to brainwash everyone into gay-bashing entitlement or was it because lazy, incompetent SJWery has never been popular?
This stuff has always happened, but with the advent of GamerGate now gamers are fighting back harder then ever. GamerGate pushed over a lot of dominoes.
And now you can insist everyone else is immature, you can claim that everyone else is entitled, you can cry that SJWs did nothing wrong, but you’re going to find a lot of people disagree.

Bruh, you're a conspiracy nut, we've gone over that point many times before in the past which you surely remember.

Stop looking at GG as some sort of hero humanity deserves. You're no Batman. It's a former-movement high jacked by complete radicals with no chill who warp a movement into an extreme. Why do you think so many left GG? Instead of going after their goals, it started going after anything it objectively labeled as "SJWs" and stroking their own ego.

GamerGate is a joke nowadays. Their fault was simply that all that baloney with some leaderless movement doesn't work. The leaderless movement gets you all types of different branches, and all the radicals get the attention and ruin it for everyone else. Occupy crashed, BLM crashed, GG crashed. Do I even need to mention how internet social justice and feminism became accosted with radicalism? GG is no exception to the rule, and GG became it’s own form of cultural and social justice warrior. All those movements generated ripples (or "a lot of dominoes" as you prefer to call it), but all crashed on the rocks.

I will not insist everyone is immature. If people are able to start looking at others as whole people instead of reducing them to their political beliefs, then there is a possibility of having open-minded discussion and finding common ground.

You are no such person. You're a conspiracy nut through and through, and you're leaving a bad stain on the "movement" you claim to support.

you can cry that SJWs did nothing wrong, but you’re going to find a lot of people disagree.

How should I even take that one serious? No one is going to claim such a thing.

Hell, that term doesn't even refer to any sort of movement anymore, but has become like a trigger to the self-acclaimed “Anti-SJWs”. See the irony there.

ShitRedditSays, BestOfOutrageCulture, Circlebroke, and a bunch of other subs on Reddit are all officially "ironic shitpost parody subs".

They've also developed a reputation for being the most thin-skinned hugboxes imaginable where "I was only pretending to be offended" is used to justify some of the most salty assrage on the internet.

You why it's said "ironic shitposting is still shitposting"?

Because that mentality of kneejerk offendedness doesn't stop at the border of "ironic shitpost parody".

Take a look at how some of the people from there act when outside the circlejerk, not much difference.

Edit:

Bruh, you’re a conspiracy nut, we’ve gone over that point many times before in the past which you surely remember.

I remember a bunch of "oh, I'm so mature!" babies getting salty at my "extremism" and then I'm proven right because it doesn't matter how "immature" the evidence is, it's still evidence.

How many times has that happened? I'm not always right but I have a far better track record then the people who've been declaring GamerGate dead for well over a year now.

Why do you think so many left GG?

Traditionally it's because GamerGate isn't their personal army and they want GamerGate to be all about their personal issues. For example we've got political zealots who think that GamerGate has been "co-opted" by either "the left-wing SJW cucks" or "the right-wing /pol/ Stormfags" because GamerGate has diverse people in it.

Who cares? Old people drop out, new people come in, some old drop-outs come back. Circle of life.

Instead of going after their goals, it started going after SJWs and stroking their own ego.

1. "Fuck SJWs" has always been part of GamerGate alongside "Ethics" & "No Censorship" despite what some revisionists try to claim.
2. What goals have we dropped again? We're still emailing, we're still fighting through the court system, we're still standing up for gaming.

GamerGate is a joke nowadays.

>Implying GamerGate hasn't been called a joke since Day 1

And look at all we've done.

GG is no exception to the rule, and GG became it’s own form of cultural and social justice warrior.

Someone who fights for freedom no matter what? Someone who doesn't bow to the powerful? Someone who doesn't buy "bigotry is OK as long as it's targeted towards the right race/gender/sexuality".

You honestly have no clue why we keep growing, do you?

I will not insist everyone is immature. If people are able to start looking at others as whole people instead of reducing them to their political beliefs, then there is a possibility of having open-minded discussion and finding common ground.

"Political beliefs?" Who needs political beliefs? Religion, class, cultural taste, favorite food, whether a Sneetch has a star on their belly…

There's always something that assholes can use to make themselves feel superior.

You are no such person. You’re a conspiracy nut through and through, and you’re leaving a bad stain on the “movement” you claim to support.

See here? You've decided that I'm a "conspiracy nut through & through" and use that as an excuse to shit all over me despite the fact I've achieved more then you.

Victory belongs to those who show up, it doesn't matter if it's a world war, a city election or a third grade math test, the people who act will always do better then those who sit around complaining that everyone else is doing it wrong.

It's a shitpost board. I don't know what you were expecting.

If you wanna talk about Riff-Raff issues though, make a Report Problems thread. This is a GG thread and you and I are derailing it.

Is everyone there like that? No. Is a lot of people there like that? Yep.

Fair enough. Though I also disagree with everyone in Riff Raff being ultra elitist, the description of the section pretty much describes forum level anarchy (within some degree of reason.) Either way, that Riff Raff section makes a great option/link for anyone who wants to "I was ironically claiming offense!"

Also to get us somewhat on track, I also learned that there are reasons why gamergate was abandoned thread

It's a bit of an eye opener as mods, perceived trolls (before and after) and those that are currently expressing lack of "oomph" at the way the comments section is going. It's refreshing for me, as it shows what the Topic of Gamergate (that is the KYM page and gamergate as a whole) has done to people on this site.

I've been playing Fates for the past couple days myself and the fact that they removed skinship because they thought it was weird is always going to be bullshit to me – especially because you barely even get a glimpse of the 3D character animations now, which are by far the best graphics in the game. Some of the voice acting and support convos are a hell of a lot more cringe-worthy to me than the idea of a head patting simulator.

In all seriousness though I love the game, but it's impossible for me to ignore that NOA took a massive shit on it.

In that link there are some people who have some good points, some people who can't see the big picture (Who cares about Randi Harper? Anyone with a Twitter account who doesn't want to be banned/doxed the instant they trigger some Tumblrina should), some people who really need a sense of perspective (is Ralph a complete asshole? Yes. Is he on the same level as Sarah "I sent pics of my 8 year old cousin to the pedo groups I'm part of & post pics of drugged & naked kids" Nyberg? Hell no.), and some people who just have no point beyond trying to justify their shit behavior ("I didn't know anything beyond someone I didn't like liked GamerGate so I've spent the past 18 months opposing it every way I can").

Wow…
Honestly, some of the posts they linked were quite questionable but those posting in the thread seemed to be behaving a lot worse, not to mention they seemed to be ignoring/mocking/dismissing a lot of perfectly reasonable stuff.

The parody/satire thing doesn't seem to hold either, there's no real joke OR point going on here, just seems to be a smokescreen for people being assholes to those they don't like. If "that's the point", then… That's a pretty terrible point, and the exact reason why I hold so much against it.

To bring it back on-topic at least a bit, dismissing everything GG because of some idiots associated with it is just bad form. Honestly, that doesn't permit anything since everything under the sun has idiots associated with it.

And I'm not necessarily pro-GG anymore. I used to be, I might still be but I don't hold to it like I used to, and for reasons I hope stand up better.

I'm rooting for GG, it's why I choose the black and orange shield with the interlocked G's as my avatar and my particular SN. That said, I'm more of a mod wannabe to this singular topic alone, more than an active GGer that arranges meetups and boycotts. I wish to keep things relevant to the Topic without breaking the rules, the added instances as they occur and set an example of what should go into the comments that adheres to those rules.

KYM is an Archive and I intend to document the shambling zombie corpse of Gamergate (or as it keeps getting declared. So far It's a Shrodinger cat. [Alive! Dead! Alive! Dead!]) till it rests in its eventual grave and write it's eulogy. (Morbid, but the point I want to make is that I'm going see this thing through to the end. better or worse. And help write the outcome of the aftermath when it comes to that point,)

Good sir, you will have to wait for a long time before your effort comes to fruition, because GG is just like gamers themselves, it has respawns and continues, and at least half of us have become necromancers and liches. Whe won't die until we fulfill ALL our goals, until then we will keep on rising from the grave. Of course the respawn cooldown periond makes us go dormant for long spells, but in the end if both this thread and the articles comments section serve as testament, the ride will take quite long to end, and that is if it ends, because as long as there is corruption in the gaming industry, as long as there is censorship in the gaming industry, and as long as others try to brign down the industry we all built together, GG will be needed, and it will be there.

A blue hedgehog and a Litarally Who just became a reminder of that a few days ago.

Look… to me, I don't think GG will ever truly die out, at least not in spirit. Does it have assholes? Of course, what group doesn't. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, we all more or less want the same thing, and that is less corruption and more honest journalism. How much of that problem is due to the 'SJWs' is more subjective than anything.

I would consider myself GG only in the sense that I support its goal, but I'm getting too sick of the bullshit I keep seeing from people on social media and here sometimes to keep supporting actively. I was never much more than a signal booster, but still. It's gotten too tiring with little reward.

However I personally don't believe going after specific people is going to win anyone any friends, so please, keep your schoolyard insults and one-dimensional 'I'm right' arguments to a minimum. It doesn't matter what your side in this (or any other debate for that matter) is, you need to stay civil. Personal attacks show a lack of self-control. I'm not pointing fingers, I'm just advising everyone to be nice.

How dare they shame Sonic?! Check your non-vehicle privilege!

But yeah, thanks for linking, I get it now. This is the sort of thing that causes social justice types to get mocked so regularly.

And then you have to wonder how many of those posts have been cherry-picked, I know some of my pretty reasonable posts have shown up there shorn of all that pesky context.

It's basically Goon humor, pretending they don't care about something they do care about a lot.

Sad really, Something Awful used to be the place for internet culture but between the $10 entry fee being monetized by banning everyone at the tiniest provocation (thereby getting another 10bux) the egos growing the only thing big enough to eat is itself, and the early wave of internet SJWs starting there it's an empty husk.

Yeah, "but some idiot likes it!" is not a good reason to dislike something. I mean if a bunch of idiots all praise something to the high heavens that's reason to be careful, but it still doesn't prove that the thing in question is bad.

Hitler passed laws against animal abuse, that doesn't mean everyone who refuses to kick puppies is a Nazi.

Meh, who cares about "pro-GG" or not? Are you going to start supporting banning games that are haram under some political ideology? Are you going to start insisting that corruption is totes OK? Are you going to insist that Anita is a great intellect & no should should question her? And are you going to say that banning games is bad, corruption is bad, and Anita is a censorious hack but go rabid on anyone who points that out because "the other side is just as bad"?

If not then I'd call you a friend. Did you know that KotakuInAction over on Reddit has a bunch of Anti-GG regular posters who hang out there because they were purged from Ghazi for not blindly endorsing everything in the officially narrative and find the neutral subs to be full of either pompous bores or shit-flinging babies. It's smart, being in a place where most people disagree but are reasonable about it means they can learn things & practice their critical thinking/debating skills.

This whole "pro-GG or not bit" is just pointless. It's like "censorship vs. localization", does the name used change what happened to the game at all?

Sure, words have meaning and labels are used because it's useful shorthands for concepts that don't have to be explained fully each time. But simply saying "it's localization, not censorship" doesn't change what the end result is.

@A Delicious Cut of Roast Beef

"Ethical Journalism" was only ever a part of GamerGate, there was also "No Censorship" & "Fuck the New Jack Thompsons"

Take a look at LunarArchivist, he's been leading the charge on the CBC with Usher & some others but he's also BTFO SJWs on Twitter and having fun on KIA.

He's done more for ethics in GamerGate then almost anyone else, but to those people who keep beating the "ethics-only" drum he'd be purged for spending 90% of his time in GG on other things.

Silly idea: I have a condenser mic and a commercial liscense of Face rig. Would anyone be opposed to the idea of me doing some sort of video series documenting gamergate news day by day, sort of bite sized chunks of summary to explain why things are relevant to the subject of gamergate? This would be in my free time and a slapshod way of a user generated tribute to the KYM video series that once was. (Granted I'd have to re learn a lot in terms of recording.)

If you can do it and make it good… why not?

Also going back to fire emblem fates can anyone verify is this did indeed happen?

Pictured above: Saizo said many things in the japanese version. In the U.S version he just says …

Oh no god its real.

I take back everything I said about fire emblem fates not being a true cause for uproar. They removed critical character information in exchange for doing nothing. That's equivalent to removing or chopping up a minigame and replacing it with nothing (which they also did). How can people still say its not a big problem?

The nots are:
Choosing my streaming service (youtube loves ads! And I don't want 'em nor do I wish to make money on this thing)
Making my own intro animation (because i dont want to reference any video for fear of dmca)
Making my own intro and outro animations
Not getting too excited (I go from news announcer to micromachines motormouth when I get passionate about something and can cause headaches)
Sound balancing (because crappy audio is hard to listen to)
And lastly Editing

As for the objective of it being any good? That would depend on the viewers and comments related to gamergate for or against can be brutal, which can lead to several negative outcomes.

@MrKillultra

I literally just saw that support convo last night and I thought I accidentally skipped most of it.

Seriously. Right here, NOA.

Look, on the whole Fire Emblem thing. I know my posts are often heated and alarmed, I can't help it, I am so red mana Chandra Nalaar looks blue in comparisson (Because her only red trait is anger). But I can't just lower the heat. Why?

Because I have been told it is not big deal over and over agian and told to calm down. When the petition to ban GTA on target started I told you to amp up the fight, you told me to calm down the petition would fail. When the petition succeeded I told you to prepare the nukes and stop those censors, you told me to calm down, the games were still being released. Every time a comic was corrupted or censored by SJWs I told you this figth is for the sake of all media, you tell me to lay down and wait until we must protect games. When DOAX3 was restricted to Eastern markets due to Koei Tecmo refusing to censor it I told you we had to obliterate the casuals once and for all. You told me to calm my tits, the game would still be available on the West and no games had been radically cut and alterd by SJWs, you told me SJWs had not enough power in the industry.

Now the NoA localizations have gone too far (Xenoblades had it quite bad already), I am telling you this is a very real war and we must bring an end to SJW parasites and push them out of the industry just as they constantly claim we do to women and minorities. And again you are telling me to take a chill pill. At least now you can't tell me "X,Y, or Z, is not happening" because it is totally happening. But I can't stay calm, not anymore, and neither should you.

How long is it going to take you to be as infuriated and disgusted as I am? How long is it going to take before you decide it is time to amp up the fight, to crush these parasites with a blow so strong it will take them five decades before they grow strong enough to try again? How long is it going to take before you decide it is time to get real serious? How many games must be taken away from us?

They said they were not going to take our entretainment away, but they did. And guess what, every time we lose terrain in tis cultural war, our chances of seing the things we like grow smaller, and so do the chances of actually seing what these parasites like, because since everything is triggering to at least one of them, they attack each other too.

I know this is a leaderless group, a hydra of many heads, but if I had more influence this would have not happened. We would have organized marches (Something I know you don't like) and protests for the sake of free speech as it was done during times of hardship. We would start to seek means to stop them, we would start acting, not sitting here in our computers with horrified faces how they destroy what we built over two decades and fighting back against the very same shit they are doing.

At least during the pre ESRB periods such practices were frowned by both gamers and the media, but if you look at the comments section of the article regarding this very controversy you will see people praising the shit done by Treehouse.

Look, if we don't act now things will only get worse. This is a war and every game censored, every game heavily edited, every piece of content cut from a game, every unreleased game, and every game attacked by the media IS A DEFEAT TO US, not only as gamers, but as a civilization.

look beyond video games, there are people burning books and paintings for the sake of ideology, people destroying history, working hard to revise it. We can not allow that to hapen.

And this is not the only ill doing we should fight back against. Have you seen the total scam Street Fighter V is? Not only regarding Mika's butt, but also regarding the fact that the game is cut to pieces and every piece sold as a DLC. They are giving you the top bun for 60 USD and the rest of the hamburger for 20 USD each.

We must act, the more we wait, the calmer we stay, the closer we get to a dark age in video games, and later, in civilization.

Alarkoz, while passionate, you're sounding a bit… uhhh well… ineffective for this site. Downvote and ignore me if you must, but I don't think this is the audience for your speech. Kotaku in Action,Voat, 8Chan and other places of gamergate rallying would probably be best.

There's already an article for the Fire Emblem: Fates Controversy and I don't think were the same deaf ears/people that you called upon on the previous inactivity. If you feel so strongly, why not make some boycott goals and leave them for others to move behind in the appropriate areas? With sound logic and research it should allow the others that are sympathetic to decide if it's worth taking action on.

However, Gamergate's action as a whole has been about passive resistance and trends. It's (in my opinion) internet entity. It won't act on what's going on unless it sees a vaild reason to. Extension of what could happen isn't a guarantee on what's going to happen.

As for calling on this thread as a whole to react?
KYM is a bunch of librarians, not activists. They record and comment on the history as it occurs, not necessarily participate. They learn the warning, and choose to partake in the action upon their own free will.

You might as well be shouting in a library.

I am not that tech savy as to know what Voat is, KiA is useful, however I don't have a Reddit account, and well, 8Chan has reduced to shitposting. That is why I focused in this place, Because I would rather yell in front of a group of scholars than in places I know nothing about or in front of a bunch of drunkards. Not to mention many users here are active users on other sectors and this thread was designed for such activities in order to reduce them in the comments section of the main article.

Boycott goals have been set by the dudes at KiA, but I am not in for boycott, I am in for something a lot less subtle. I do have ideas, but they are far more active than boycotts or hashtags, I am talking about legal action (Since for example translating from Japanese without knowing a bit about it IS something that should not be allowed by the law), protests, marches, real activism, not the digital one. Of course, many of you would consider my methods confrontational and too active for their tastes.

And no, I won't downvote for the mere fact of not agreeing with you. You are reasonable.

I don't what idiots thought "ignore the problems and they'll go away", but that's not me or most people here.

Make a Reddit account and get on KIA, post on 8chan (/v/ always has a GamerGate general thread up), make an account on Voat (it's like Reddit without the censorship) and get to their KIA.

look beyond video games, there are people burning books and paintings for the sake of ideology, people destroying history, working hard to revise it. We can not allow that to hapen.

They can burn books, they can burn libraries, they can burn people, but they can't burn everything.

It's not the medieval ages anymore, it's not even the 90s. Tech advances & so does the ability to preserve & spread information.

And every time this happens more people stand up & say "No." Take a look at the NoA Twitter account, every tweet they make about Fire Emblem is met with people telling them they fucked up.

This fire emblem thing is reaching Barbra Streisand levels. The more bloggers are saying its not a big or "nontraversy" makes it more controversial.

Also MexPirateRed isn't that video more WTFU related, isn't it?

Given how many of videos have been taken down by the other side with bullshit (seriously, the 25,000 comment grave only happened because TotalBiscuit commented on Zoe's fake DMCA censoring MundaneMatt) I'd say it's related.

It's also already over on the WTFU page.

Also, Aralkoz, the VideoGameAttorney is having a 24 hour Ama on reddit. If you're looking for grounds of legal action, especially against self admitted negligence and what can be done about it. Now would be the time to ask (theres 6 hours left at the time of typing this, the guy is giving free advice but not real consultation in depth.)

DMCA is being used as a weapon for several reasons.
Censorship is one of them.

Is juts a matter of time, until someone tries to use their anti hate speech rule, to censor Gamer Gate.

I'm pretty sure that DMCA has already been used on pro-gamergate videos.

"On August 17, YouTuber MundaneMatt published a video in which he discussed thezoepost. The video was taken down by Quinn using a DMCA copyright claim, as the video contained a publicly-available screenshot from her game Depression Quest."- http://www.gamergatewiki.com/index.php/GamerGate

Assuming of course the source is correct.

I think you're a few weeks-months late on that one. Remember? According to Wikipedia, Gamergate is a hate group.

And people is from 8 to 7 years late, with the whole #WTFU.
Things take time, they dont happen from one day to the next, thats when is obvious, Hulutube started really slow.

Now see what happened, because people decide this video was insane and bonkers, to this day, you will find people that will say there is nothing wrong with youtube.

Youtube did the same thing that Twitter is trying to do, but it worked for them.
Also if you watch the first video, you will notice Youtube censored videos in the past.

The only good thing that came from the Hulutube drama.

A number of YouTube partners back in 2009 who made videos calling "Hulu Tube" a bunch of BS. Almost ALL of them NOW have less than 5% of their subscribers watching their videos anymore, and they're virtually invisible themselves.

It point that people that supports the system, will be fv(k3d harder, that the people fighting it.

More possible evidence that points to the whole corruption in translation bit

Quoting myself here but I just had an idea. Since most people are dismissive of content changes under locialization, why not try to find issue with the heart of the matter:
Do what GG always did and scrounge up more evidence.

What I mean by this is instead of focusing and combing through the game, (I mean to implement this course of action to those of us that want to switch gears) try to find instances of the translator group acting "trendy". FE:Fates is 3 games treated as one. Thats a lot of content yo go through and a signifigant ammount of cash for nintendo. So why not find the instances of treehouse messing up (other games they translated) to expose the cause.

That might actually be a better idea than mine. I mean, if we can prove that Treehouse regressed Japanese to Western localization back to the pre ESRB era or worse that would actually have a heavier impact on their PR.

Regarding American McGee. It has been quite a while since I heard of that for the first time and I am starting to get worried. Why? Because I live in Mexico, and here you learn that if someone is missing for more than a month all hope is lost. Even worse, the cops are behaving as if they were Mexican cops, which is in my humble opinion suspicious as hell. I do suspect foul play too.

I am amazed of the amount of Mexican Gaters.

Is kinda sad the country is too big to make the GG in Mx, i have notice tons of people try to start this in KiA.

Not only that. There are many non GamerGate supporters against censorship in Mexico. While there is a big SJW infection here, specially on left leaning circles, people are getting tired of it faster than in the US, in fact SJWs are often dubbed "Chairos" in case those who don't live in Mexico are curious.
