I knew I'd be dead. Random, you're good at summing things up. If you could, would you please explain what the votes tell us?

They tell us absolutely nothing. Well maybe they do, but with the amount of players left I can't do much with it.

Lolrus didn't pay attention and derped up his vote. Whether this was the idea of the mafia or himself not paying attention, I can't tell. But it does make him a good suspect.

So at the moment, I can't really list much, the votes were too much split up.

But the biggest suspects currently are:

  • Lolrus for obvious reasons.
  • BSOD for not joining in the tie plan and voting RJ.
  • Witch-King for not joining in the tie plan and voting Douglas.
  • Natsuru for being the 6th Bob voter.

I still say that Seal Clubba is very suspicious. RJ is also pretty suspicious for not acting like RJ.

Edit: Also, Natsuru didn't give a reason for changing his vote. I suspect that it wasn't his decision then and was the decision of someone else. This, of course, is just a theory.

Edit2: Calm down, Douglas.

>MFW when we lose the sheriff in the first turn and kill an important villager in the second.

inb4 the mafia kills the doctor, and we kill Sean in response.

Don't worry. Since I'm dead people know they can trust me, at least trust me more than anyone else. I'll just continue to take notes and share them with you. I was under the assumption that I wouldn't be able to post anymore after I died, so I fought dearly for my life. After Verbose explained that I would be able to, I calmed down. It would have been better for me to die so that people will take my notes seriously.

Tl;dr: I died… Just as planned.

Edit: @Natsuru below: You saw a tiebreaker coming up, so you decided to break the tie? That doesn't make any sense. First, getting a tie would have helped the villagers. If you wanted to break the tie, that would mean that you wanted to hinder the villagers. You should explain yourself better since you're not making yourself look anymore innocent.

The reason I changed my vote was because I saw a Tiebreaker situation comeing up, however I was in a rush and decided not to explain my reasoning.

I would also like to note that Douglas is typing in caps. This is different from his usual passive aggressive behavior. A more aggressive role could be the side effect of being empowered. I'll leave the judging of that to all of you.

Edit: I guess I should gather all my notes up. This will take a while, be back in a bit.

Edit2: Also, stop worrying everyone. I wanted to die, it makes things easier. My plan is going pretty well so far.

What the hell guys? When I left we had a good tie set up and when I came back you changed it towards Bob? WHY?

If I knew Nobody was going to correct the tie then I would have fixed it myself when I saw Ashbot vote.

Bob better have been a mafia, reading Verboses post I can't tell what role Bob was. Are we no longer revealing the roles? Or is Bob's role in there somewhere between the lines?

Because if Bob was a villager then FUUUUUUUUUUUU! We needed Bob, he's one of the best slueths in this game! Gah!

@Random

Like I said, if I knew this was going to happen I would have joined in with the tie. When I first came in, we already had a perfect 3 way tie. I voted for RJ because he was the only one I suspected and also so I would not mess up the tie

I saw Ashbot screw up the tie but I had faith that Lolrus or someone else would correct it while I was gone from the thread…I was wrong….sigh

Anyway, lets not lose hope, we just gotta get more organized. And also beware of any attempts from the mafia to fudge our plans. I suspect mafia mindgames were the reason the vote's swayed so suddenly in the last vote.

I stuffed it up as well………………god, that was a poor decision on my part.

@BSoD: Verbose revealed that I was Gus. It's a new role that PWNED put in to give this game as a reference to Psych. Sean and Gus are roles that are meant to work as a team. Every two turns they would be told clues in the form of riddles. I have to ask though, I may be dead, but can I still communicate with Sean? This would work better for us since Sean and I can solve the riddle and I can reveal the person. You all know I was innocent so you can all trust me.

Edit: I'm slacking from my note summarization. Back to work then.

Last edited Jan 14, 2012 at 06:25PM EST

Oh I see. I completely forgot we had those roles.

Maybe there is a silver lining in this after all now that Saun can communicate with the spirits (you) to help us out.

Hope to see those notes of yours, did you get many clues so far?

In any case I said I would rage if Bob was not a mafia so FUUUUUUUUU!

Okay, this has been bothering me for a while.

His name was spelled Shawn. At least the fellow from Psych. If the name is being changed for the sake of cleverness then carry on.

N0 I'm seri0us. I'm playing 0n instinct here, I can't keep up with all the maths and ties-breaker gak.

Maths? What are you talking about?

Seal Clubba

  • Asked if 'the mafia could be stopped' rather than asking if 'the villagers could stop the mafia' – sort of suspicious
  • Warned us that we should all beware of Douglas, yet never threw a vote against him – interesting to note – keep in mind
  • Didn't throw in a vote until after the 'fake mafia vote' tactic was mentioned – possibly unaware of tactic? – pretty suspicious
  • Has not responded to any suspicions against him – trying to avoid suspicion? – interesting

RapturJesus

  • Defended Seal Clubba despite having no reason to acknowledge him – Possible teamwork? – Pretty suspicious
  • Acted far more serious throughout his accusations until I started analyzing him, then he went back to being RJ – interesting

Natsuru

  • Switched votes without a reason, different than usual – possible vote change decision made by someone else – pretty suspicious
  • Gave a really bad reason for changing votes afterward – covering up? – suspicious

Lolrus

  • Came in after discussions to throw in vote – claims he forgot he was in this game – possible cover up in order to throw us off – pay attention to lolrus

Nikolaki

  • Refused to cooperate with villagers until further discussion solidified usage of the plan – Usually acts before thinking things through – needs further study

Cpt. Douglas J. Falcon

  • Agressive statements – usually very timid – empowerment?

These are all of my current notes. Don't take them all as solid evidence. I'll now be looking through ALL posts in this thread and will continue to take notes.

Hmm…what rapture Jesus just said is very odd after all we needed lambob so he could give us clues on who could be potential mafia members, yet your happy that he's dead? I know earlier you said that you wanted him dead so you wouldn't have to read his lengthy paragraphs but maybe you want him dead for something else and what you said earlier was just a cover up? Now i'm suspecting you for being a mafia member.

Also, I like it how awesome we are at helping out the mafia.

Ashbot wrote:

Is it my fault that iambob died?

Ignore the post above me.

Nah, not really. I guess you just didn't really pay attention. You were not exactly aware of our idea to create a tie. Luckily your vote switch didn't do much damage and by having someone else switch back it was already undone.

But then again, you can also be called suspicious because of that, as that would be a part of your tactic. But I don't see you as much as a mafia as the other members who switched/derped votes.

Edit: DERP. Sorry Ashbot, my bad. I forgot you were already proven innocent in the beginning. Thanks Bob (see below post).

@Teh Brawler

Well yes, we're helping the mafia through killing innocents. But the amount of villagers is a lot higher than the amount of mafia. And especially during the first few turns the villagers make plenty of mistakes and kill an innocent person. The chances simply aren't in favor of the villagers in the beginning. But through tactic the villagers can give themselves an adventage and through that find the mafia. Unfortunately our tactic got fucked up in the end during this round, but it did result in some suspects.

Last edited Jan 14, 2012 at 11:19PM EST

@Natsuru: I just might take you up on that offer. I mean you no ill will, but in this game suspicion is everything. And you strike me as suspicious.

@Ashbot: It wasn't your fault, don't worry about it.

@RJ: Now you're acting TOO dumb.

@RandomMan: Ashbot is a villager. Verbose confirmed this in his only turn as sheriff.

Edit: No problem Random. Just helping wherever I can.

30 hours remaining in the 2nd night

Let me know if you want more information, guys. Like how I'd go about certain scenarios.

…You know…anything without being unfair…

…

I'm not bored… or anything. You know…just…want to help…

So, I guess we can cheat then?

Edit: And now that you've edited to fix your mistake, my joke doesn't work.

Give us everything you know (except the obvious details you're not allowed to tell).

The only thing that crossed my mind was how any potential tiebreaker would go. With Natsuru, ties were broken with a re-vote between the 2 or more people who tied. With madcat, one randomly chosen player (villager or not) could choose who died.

I'll be going with Natsuru's approach (tiebreakers with just those who tied as those villagers could vote for.) It's something that I think all players should know upfront, since it effects how they play the game.

I don't think there's much else. But whatever PWNED wants when he comes back goes, I guess.

@Bob

I'm guessing that has something to do with my typo.

But the Night continues until the deadline passes (now at 30 hours) or all roles have performed. That's an understood assumption though.

Gespent, Lolrus, Opspe and 404 haven't said anything all day. We're still waiting on a vote. This should be something to keep in mind. The question is whose vote are we still waiting for and which of these people would fit the role.

Edit: It's still Night Phase but we're waiting on a vote from either the mafia or the doctor. The four people I've stated seem to have been absent all day. This could help us find out who has a special role.

Lolrus wrote:

sorry guys. I had some IRL stuff to deal with all day. I am not going to play anymore since I always forget to vote.

Aww that's a shame, can we at least know what your role was?

But Lolrus, this thread doesn't require that much dedication

There are 48 hours gaps in between voting so you got time and you wont forget as long as this thread gets bumped.

If you never vote, the game continues without you after the 48 hour period so you don't have to worry about holding anything up

But you already revealed your role so that means you pretty much skipped town already. (At least one of us here isn't going to get stabbed by a mafia…lucky bastard). Never mind

@Bob

Those are good notes. I'm very suspicious of RJ now both from your notes and also his recent posting which indicated how happy he is to see villagers die, RJ just make mafia too easy to spot.

I think my vote for him was justified. The mafia might kill me for identifying one of their own, but if I die then that just confirms that I was right.

There's a difference between keeping silent in an attempt to divert attention from myself and being out all day without internet access. I've been doing the latter – curse this robust, fulfilling social life of mine…

I'm still suspicious of Seal and RJ, for more or less the same reasons you've mentioned.

Opspe, I'm not saying you're a mafioso avoiding the thread to avoid suspicion. I'm just saying that we're still waiting on a vote and it just so happens that you were busy throughout the day. These two do go hand in hand pretty well but there's a gaping hole in the middle of this conviction. Everyone in this game is suspicious, even you. I'm not saying I'll call out for your head. But for now, this pattern is noted.

madcat was making his nightly rounds. He had figured that if the mafia wanted him dead, then they knew where he lived, knew his schedule…they knew where to find him if they wanted to "talk" to him. As such, he saw no need to take any precautions. The sheriff and one of the detectives had already fallen victim to the mafia's guile, and the doctor had been ineffective so far in preventing the village from falling into the mafia's hands.

But he was still set on changing that. However, the large SUV barreling towards his vehicle was even more set on the course of killing madcat. He had no time to react, the massive sport utility vehicle was driven from a blind intersection, timed perfectly to smash madcat's vehicle. The car was totaled. Not that it mattered. madcat was bloodied and disoriented from the impact. If only he could save himself, but he was hardly there mentally to even try.

The mafia made that fact absolute, as one mafioso stepped calmly out of the SUV, and put a bullet into the doctor's skull before madcat even knew what was going on.

42 hours remaining in the 2nd Day

By the way, why 42 hours? Isn't that kinda odd?

I had made a Typo when I added my own rules, which I thought was fixed in later versions…
-
And oh fuck, the Doctor! D:
-

Also, Verbose admited it was my vote that broke the tie breaker, thus I am a villager.
