Flying above the ground to locate the Chaos Emeralds may prove to be a disadvantage. You see, Chaos Emeralds are typically located in special stages only accessible via Special Rings that Sonic and I (usually Sonic) find hidden in the underbrush in various zones.

In fact, I usually just allow Sonic to collect all of the Emeralds (or at least most of them) so I can steal them from him when the opportunity arises.

I'll borrow Aeris's time machine and abort you all from time.
