This is the best update that has ever happened. I knew I loved Caliborn for a reason.

It was the manner in which he did it.
Like.

"No fuck this I'm sick your shit already."

If it is however not the case, we can easily assume this isn't permanent, as this death certainly was neither heroic nor just.

However, seeing how Gamzee can certainly be seen as corrupt, due to his wish to kill everyone, his death can still be seen as Just, thus making it permanent. But we'll leave this to future updates. We don't even know yet how Gamzee made God Tier, so who knows what happened inbetween.

What if he's not even an actual God Tier?

>Gamzee wasn't even godtier.
>We know from several updates ago that he made his godtier cos tum from cloths found in the dream bubbles.
>You can actually see some of it fall off
>He never could have reached his quest bed
>YFW all fandom theories are completely wrong
>YFW Gamzee is the best Gamzee cosplayer

(Although, I have this theory. What if the reason we never see Gamzee's dreamself dead or dying is because… when Prospit was destroyed… he was already god tier. :U You could work this one of these two ways)

It would appear that Caliborn has compromised one of Hussies narration broadcasting towers. This is bad news.

Why does Hussie leave such important installations lying around where his characters can interfere with them? He really needs to reconsider his equipment security

Better question: what the hell was Gamzee doing there before he got turned into swiss cheese?

Guise.

This is the end of Homestuck.

It will be impossible for Hussie to tell the story from here on out if Caliborn breaks it. I.E., no more hamsteak.

Let's hope that things don't get that meta.

Plus he's a God tier and also a clown. You can't bring down the clown.

@MDF

Well I was right about one thing…

This is just sort of like a radio tower. It receives and transmits signals.

I'm not convinced that the dialog is from Calliope however. The text is purely black and the u's are not upper case. Furthermore the dialog addresses Calliope in the third person:

You won that game of chess with that stupid gambit. Switching the hats, remember? It was a lame ploy, and totally not in the spirit of the rules, but it got under her skin enough to force a loss anyway.

You also hired Jack to murder your sister. Which was a dick move, but reasonably clever.

If it's not Hussie himself interacting with Caliborn, I don't know who he is talking to

He's a hilarious, rascally clown!
You know how it is with clowns.
They are notoriously difficult to kill for reasons that basically don't make any sense.

Yeah this ain't Calliope.
Call off the prediction.

Hmm, I just realized something…

If Caliborn apparently relies on writing quirk and color to identify an author…and has difficulty telling his text apart from "Hussies" despite the obvious difference in shade and capitalizing…I wonder what would happen if he got into a conversation with Karkat.

Caliborn: Dark grey, FULL CAPS, obnoxious
Karkat: Dark grey, FULL CAPS, obnoxious.

Should be an interesting conversation, no?

He's not full gray in Pesterchum. He's almost black.

And if it gets too confusing, Karkat could always opt in for hemotyping. (He has done it before in conversations with himself! Not like he has much to hide when it comes to blood colour in this case, anyway, as Caliborn ALSO has that shade of red blood!)

@Fridge

I know, but Caliborn expressed trouble with that anyway. 'Hussies' text is full black and it confused Caliborn because his own text was dark as well, Karkats text should be even more confusing because he also uses full caps

@Everyone who is talking about Caliborn's Typing Quirk

He said that he is switching his Text Colour to lime green because it's like "PAINTING [his] WORDS IN HER BLOOD." Lord English also uses lime green colour, but I don't know when he will start using alternating-colour text, (or Eyeballs). Caliborn is getting closer to being Lord English.

When has Lord English ever typed before?

I was wondering…
Since trolls don't really have mothers or fathers, and never heard of mothers/fathers until they talked to the beta kids, how come Gamzee always said "Motherfucker" even before they met the kids? Wouldn't he be saying something like "Lususfucker" or something?

While it's probably just one of those nonsensical things (Read: Space Juggalos), it's also possible that other creatures on Alternia are borne of two parents, lending to the necessity of the terms Mother and Father.

I was under the impression that Trolls do have Mothers and Fathers. However Troll parents tend to abandon their children and leave Alternia to conquer the universe.

They hand their parenthood role over to a Lusus before they go

Nah. They're laid en masse from a Mother Grub (Who evidently isn't a Troll at all) from a slur of Genetic Material provided by various involuntary contributors. From there they hatch in the Brooding Caverns and go straight into the hands of the Lusii who select them and into childhood. There are never any adult Trolls on Alternia as per the Condesce's decree.
