For those of you who don't know, John Joseco is a very famous Brony artist, who's done a lot of fantastic art based on MLP. This is the first time I've seen him tackle something not pony-related, and I am so happy about it.

O snap. I heard Sokka whispering: "Watertriiiibe"

Also, it's neat to see how the animation has changed since the first series. Katara and Sokka really stick out.

Does anyone have a link to the fifth episode? I missed it, and all the google results take me to sites where I have to pay a subscription.

If you want to watch it for free (and in the utmost of legality) Nick will probably release it on their website tomorrow.

Nickelodeon might order more shows when they notice how much of a following it's attracting.

Dear god I hope they do.

Man, fuck Masami and Makorra and all those ships.

Team Bokorra (or however you people come up with these name mashups) for life.

At this point, I'm starting to feel like this show is at least 50% shipping. And there's only three main characters.

So can we call it a fact? Shipping causes conflicts, but without it you end up forever alone. I don't think we can win at this "love" thing. Good thing I am a robot.

[SPOILERS FOR EPISODE FIVE BELOW]

You know what I like about the new series? With Aang and Katara, their relationship was drawn out over basically the whole series – hinted at, semi-admitted to, but never confirmed until near the end of the final season. This series? Korra's all "ah, I love him, but how do I know if her loves me?" so by the end of the episode she has already confessed to the guy, dated his brother, and made out with him. Big improvement if you ask me.

You realize, though, that was part of the fun of the shipping, the "will they or won't they?" To see Katara go through stuff with Zuko and that Jet guy, and then to have her acknowledge Aang as nothing more than a little boy in an iceberg? And then to have them finally land with each other after everything was over?

All I'm saying is that fast-tracking the shipping in Korra isn't a bad thing, but it isn't necessarily good either.

I would have hidden mine better, but I couldn't get the darn textile to work. Sorry.

BTW Guys, the Korra Pastebin usually has the episodes a day after release in 720p:

Yes, but Nick is likely to order more seasons. Mike and Bryan have said LOK won't be like ATLA in that there's a conclusion after two or three seasons. Each season has new villans and plotlines, so there's more to go off of.

I just watched the 5 new episode. I wish they would've made Bolin a bit more serious when he saw Mako and Korra kissing. Now I feel like he's just always going to be comic relief, and the Borra ship doesn't have as much of a chance.

Oh… The Legend of Korra. Meh, I bet it will suck like the real life Avatar the Last Airbender movie. watches movie. HOLY FUCK THIS SHOWS AWESOME! Look at the drawings, this isn't in the old ass past this is friggin' steampunk man. And Katara looks older than hell and they trolled us in episode 1 by mentioning Zuko's mom and then not explaining things. I. AM. MIND. RAPED!!!

Calm down.

You're not making any sense.

I finally watched the most recent two episodes.

Bolin>Naga

He's a more badass version of Sokka, and has a better form of humor. That's like being Chuck Norris's mentor.

I mean, he kicked ass in the tournament, and all.

"And he's still bending with just one arm! I got to hand it to him, he's got grit! But I have to wonder, how long can he keep this up?"
Bolin gets thrown out by the waterbender
"Apparently not very long!"

While I completely see where you're coming from, I didn't get that impression at all from that scene and from Bolin's reaction. To me, Bolin is a naturally expressive person, and it would be unnatural for him to be able to bottle up any of the emotions he felt at that time. Yes, they played it up a bit for laughs, but I feel that a Bolin bowing his head and walking away silently would have been harder to accept.

SO MANY FEELS IN THIS LAST EPISODE… A GREAT MANY

It really was a great episode. Love, happiness, romanticism, sadness, cuteness, despair, humour, determination. Those guys over at the LoK offices know how to make a good series.

OKAY GUYS I'M CHANGING SIDES KOLIN FOREVER

You can't just "switch sides", Teh Brawler. If you want to switch teams in LoK, you must:

1): Make a final ship between Korra and Mako.

2): Draw a "transitional ship" (threeway).

3): Create a ship for your new team.

If you do not follow these steps, you will continue to be a Makorran. Thus is the bureaucracy of LoK shipping.

Nope, I jumped ship. I am officially MIA in regards to Makorra, and am therefore a vigilante. My only hope is to take refuge with Kolin, so that I may be spared.

YOU CAN'T JUST JUMP SHIP. THERE'S SO MUCH PAPERWORK FOR THAT.

I got stuck on step 2 and now I don't want to leave. Sorry guys, you'll just have to go on without me.

I think a threeway relationship is the best decision of all. TEAM MAKBORRA.

If you guys take Earth Kingdom money, then I bet 2 silver pieces that Amon's true identity will be Zuko's Mother. Well, not actually his mother, but as in it's the big question running throughout the entire show's length that, while even the characters will want to know, it just won't be fully revealed. It's an easy yet effective shot for making a big mystery that drives people's actions. Heck, maybe Amon will jump off a cliff or something when he knowns he's been bested just to continue haunting the heroes. And THEN he'll somehow come back to life using his dark spiritual connections and be the true big bad behind the supposed string-puller that was supposedly pulling Amon's strings. Because everyone likes cool, masked villians that make cool, miraculous comebacks from death and defeat. Like Slade! Or Nightshroud. Lelouch doesn't count because A and most importantly, he's not a villian. But B, he either did die, never to return or he never died in the first place.
I am surprised his power to take away bending (Which really hasn't been proven to be permanent, since you have to wait, say, years before you get to claim that your action continues to have effect.) wasn't the one that Aang used at the end of the first show. First off, that removes the main chance of him being Ozai, though who actually thought that was what it was gonna' be? More importantly, his ability is kinda' boring to look at. The power just fades away. Aang's did NOT match his personality at ALL. That wax-figure-of-bending-nullification-power was uber-weird and quite creepy. Having Amon use it works much better than for Aang. Plus, then he would get to use it on Korra at the end, where they'd have a spiritual battle (Korra's weakspot, just as the physical battle was Aang's.) over who is more in tune with "The World", so Korra's victory would prove that she is more in-balence with everything than Amon, thus destroying his campaign platform.
Finally, his outfit is kinda' "Meh"-y, aside from the mask's likeness to Anon.

I feel alone in my little Korra//Asami corner. Ah, well, such is life for a ship that will never, ever see the light of canon.
