Scroll down a bit to find it. There's a list of color names you can use under the example.

EDIT:I've been ninja'd so I should add something new.

I think Gigatoast asked if anyone has ever wanted to write fanfiction because of seeing so many bad fanfics.

Well, not really. There are some good fanfics out there, and the few that I do read have been 5+ starred on EqD.

I do kinda want to start a blog elaborating on my thoughts of the Brony community, but I'm not sure if I have the time to devote to a decent, edited, and academic explanation (if you think my forum posts are long, you should see me not trim my thoughts down…) That has been a goal since I knew about the phenomenon though, even before running across bad fanfics (never read any fanfiction before FiM.)

Anyone ever read Spiderses, by the way? I've read GODLIKE praise for it…

Applejack has found: Texas Slim's Dome Shine

You have no idea how much havoc Pinkie would be able to create if she had wings.
Also, I lol'd at the TF2 joke.

That's part of it… yes. If, as you said, the intention was to make a parody of all the terrible fan characters people have created by rolling all the worst trends into one character, then you succeeded perfectly.

We had a discussion about Alicorn FCs a few pages ago.

Just so you all know, spoilers have been released for episode 2

This better not continue all the way through season 2. I prefer things to be spoiler-free right up until the actual airing.

Yeah, someone saw it on The HUB's site last night and posted it in the KYM MLP main article. I actually went to give it a look, thinking that it wouldn't be anymore than what you would see on a commercial. However, it wasn't up at the time. I guess they created the title of the video but didn't release it yet.

Anyway, it's almost Saturday now. I don't think a ton of people will swarm to the video, because we're no longer in the Great Drought unless Luna is somewhere in the vi .

My friend was telling me about some of the flashback sequences in that game, the game sounds like a worthy investment. It makes me happy when games actually are good when released, hype or no hype.

An interesting question!

Actually, there are quite a lot of artifacts used by ponies that are clearly not designed with ponies in mind, but rather some kind of biped with hands and opposable thumbs.

Likely, the designs for these items are very old, probably dating back from Before Celestia (BC) and have gained a cultural foothold -- so much so that they are repeated even when the original users have long since disappeared.

Could these be relics of a long-dead dragon civilization, perhaps? Dragons, however, are only bipedal when quite young -- as they grow, they become more quadruped. Besides, the items themselves are too small to be used by full-grown dragons. On the other hand, dragons DO live for a very long time (in the realm of hundreds -- if not thousands -- of years; that one dragon in Dragonshy was about to have a nap of two hundred years, after all), so if dragons remain in bipedal form for a long period of time, it's quite possible that a civilization was created when the current adult generation was young. Once they grew up, all their artifice was abandoned as they went off to life solitary lives, to be found and mimicked by ponies and other sapient creatures.

Another possibility is that the world Equestia sits on is an artificial planet made by advanced humans, possibly as a vacation world or the like since there is very little that is actively dangerous outside of the Everfree Forest. The animals are more intelligent than normal due to heavy genetic engineering and so-called "magic" is actually a type of psionic powerset. In fact, this might explain why Celestia and her sister were needed to change the sky; being a presumed vacation world, being able to precisely control when day and night happen would be an asset and could be accomplished via artificial fusion satellites to simulate a sun.

Your answer is summed up in one picture

Among the returners is Sparty, who has spent his time… doing… things that don't involve KYM.

@ScreamingDoom: …actually, the question does have a point, but yeah, answer is going way too far.

My theory is mankind long ago landed and taught ponies the use of basic tools, then left and continued to observe the development of their little social experiment.

They then facepalmed that the ponies didn't adapt their tools to suit their physiology.
