Not even a main character but by far one of the best ones in the game (Valkyrai Chronicles, her name is Marina Wulfstan and she's objectively the best sniper in the game).
She fought the result of teleporting bread for 3 days straight on her 1 day off.
From left to right: Kyoko, Sayaka, Mami, Homura, and Madoka, from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Don't be fooled, each and every one of them are badass in their own right.

As much as I hated Dragon Age 2, I did like Aveline. Not only does she make a better tank than Hawke, but she, in my opinion, is an example of a good well-written female character.
How has nobody put her here yet?

I find the lack of Sniper Wolf displeasing.

Illua from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. She has a unique job class and set of broken abilities that make her a gigantic pain to fight against.
