She may seem not very badass, but if you've played Xenoblade and seen her story, you'd think otherwise.

Either siren works fine.

As much as I hated Dragon Age 2, I did like Aveline. Not only does she make a better tank than Hawke, but she, in my opinion, is an example of a good well-written female character.
