The meme began circulating on X / Twitter as early as January 2024 and became increasingly popularized over the following months, inspiring redraws and edits replacing the anime girl and the specific bottles of pills.

On January 30th, 2024, X^[1] user @Jaltercel posted a meme depicting VTuber Ookami Mio, as drawn by X^[2] artist @Deaver1229, surrounded by fertility boosters and supplements, writing, "With enough power you can refire even a dying star," garnering roughly 470 likes in four months (shown below). This is the earliest known user to post the meme.

Spread

The meme inspired edits and redraws over the following months. On February 27th, 2024, Redditor u/ SCP-Foundation_Staff posted a version of the meme to /r/TheOdysseyHadAPurpose,^[3] which was reposted by X^[4] user @LookAtMyMeat1 on March 8th, garnering over 600 upvotes on the former and 24,000 likes on the latter in two months (shown below, left).

On March 27th, X^[5] user @isabongos posted a version of the meme that garnered over 1,700 likes in two months (shown below, right).

On May 5th, 2024, X^[6] user @MasterR108 posted a version of the meme featuring VTuber Kureiji Ollie that garnered over 5,400 likes in two weeks (shown below, left).
