Hello,
today I received notification asking to disable my adblocker.

I do not use adblocker. I do not recall ever installing one in the first place. That being said I don't remember having any ads here either, so maybe whatever causes them to not show up is detected as an adblock. I use Google Chrome.

Yeah, just noticed. I have turned it off and am seeing ads, dammit!

The best way to fix this is… with an adblocker. No, really.

The mod team recommends uBlock Origin as it seems to be the overall most reliable pick for casual users. If the popup persists, you can find solutions in these threads about blocking that too.

Be sure to convey the irony of this to the admin team, if you choose to contact them.

Just came to report it's the same with me. Literally every page this stupid thing pops up. Gonna block it ASAP.

Did this just start happening today? I'm asking specifically about the combination of no adblock and still seeing the popup.

Seems like it. I've never seen it before.

That being said, right now I'm not getting the popup anymore, so I guess it's fixed?
