What political issue do you care the least about?

Everyone has political issues they are passionate about, and hopefully for good reason. there's plenty of causes people take up and some even dedicate their lives to.

But here's a question that's the exact opposite.

There's plenty of people who otherwise don't give a shit about politics and just go on with their lives. and even then there's plenty of people who just prioritize certain things over others.

So what, dear meme forum users, are the political issues you give the least amount of fucks about?

I do not care about any racial issues plaguing the United States. Not now, not ever. That country has this weird history placing ethnicity on such a high pedestal that people are still lunatics about it. Looking in as an outsider, it is bizarre and strange to see the US masses scream about racism the way it does, and how obsessively they are out for blood where any slip-up can assassinate careers, characters and merit. I will understand the plight of people who are oppressed and disenfranchised, but people really are just waiting to instantly eliminate anyone without a second thought playing the race card. It is just really strange.

Where I am, we just treat people of different race as any other people, and we can joke about it.

Immigration in all ways
like I agree that illegal immigration isn’t good but seriously the us is so far behind the rest of the world it’s pathetic, why can’t we focus on things that fuckign matter like healthcare, education, and infrastructrure

Trifling matters over cereal mascots and tv show episodes being problematic. It has a double whammy effect of not only pissing off right-wingers, but also making left-wingers look worse because it undermines the way bigger issues they care about. The attention is put on decade old TV episodes instead of the material conditions of people right now, and the attention given to these dumb things causes less trust in other bigger, more legitimate social justice grievances

It's an effective way to make lefties and righties angry at the same time

I don't know if this is political, but I'm going to fire away at this. I generally can't be bothered with gun control – at least the extreme end of it. For example, when a school shooting occurs, people are quick to blame guns for the issue. I understand that guns can be easy to access in America, but trying to ban guns as a whole isn't going to solve anything. That is like banning alcohol because it could potentially get someone drunk, or banning cars because they can cause vehicular accidents. I think that owning a gun is 100% alright, it's who owns it that is the problem. Most of the school shooters are clearly mentally ill, and shouldn't be carrying a gun freely in the first place. But for the most part, the media prefers to focus on the fact that a gun caused the incident and make the incident a message about gun control, not covering the stability of the owner or trying to actually prevent incidents in the future.

It depends, how are we defining this?

If by "care the least" you mean rarely think about or generally avoid, then probably something I've never heard of before.

But if you mean an issue that we think should be kicked to the wayside, discarded and forgotten, never to be discussed again I certainly have a few that I would like to see vanish beneath the falling sands of the hourglass.

I mean rarely think about. Basically an issue you don't have strong opinions about one way or the other & generally just don't care about whenever you hear it brought up or referenced.

With political issues, I feel like being the worst person in not really caring about them unless they affected me or so one would say. That said, it won't stop me from forming an opinion on a political issue such as gay rights, how racial minorities are treated by police, how immigrants are treated when they get detained, gun control, and the like. That said for political issues I care least about, I don't know if this can count but considering what Master Pain said, trifling matters not just on mascots but maybe even on something on pop culture like an old tv show and the like I can't even care much about on the same level as an African American facing abhorrent treatment from cops or a gay couple being denied rights heterosexual couples can have. I feel that something like tv episodes or to even go into more nerdy circles, tabletops or video games and the like feel like they should be at the bottom of totem pole compared to more important things gun control, health care, LGBT rights, and the like.

probably not quite a topic per se, but I absolutely hate the Black-and-White "If you're not with me, you're against me" philosophy most people I know have.

While I myself do not know much about politics, I do firmly believe in having my reasons for not supporting someone's side, and prefer to seek out alternate solutions as a result.

It's difficult to engage in politics when a disagreement on any particular issue devolves into a witchhunt.

Wether gambling should be legal or illegal. I personally really don't care what people want to do in their free time and I think there are more important issue to be solved. I have friends who began with sports betting on betting.co.uk still liking it and I know people who are against it, so it's nothing that politicians should decide.
