@Embarrassing deaths:
I think my most embarrassing death was in the first week I played it online. I was a sniper on KOTH Saw Mill, shooting from the usual sniping spot outside the spawn. There was another guy coming up to me, so I did the wave taunt, waving hello. He turned out to be a Spy, and shot me.

Gonna be playing TF2 tomorrow.

As Soldier. All day.

With my "The Founding Father" and "Team Captain" equipped.

…and I just bought a "Freedom Staff" off of the community market.

Prepare yourselves….for freedom.

Happy fourth everyone.

Guys, what was your most humiliating death on TF2 ? Nothing beats being telefragged. As a spy.

Getting headshotted by my friend. When I was overhealed. When I was playing a spy, and cloaked. I may or may not have rage quitted after that moment for the rest of the day.

Also, TF2 FTW.

So, has anyone taken the Tide Turner for a spin? Seems like it could prove to be useful for certain Demoknight playstyles.

Believe me, that thing wrecks face. Not only can a skilled demoknight kill an entire group of enemies with it (or at least some of them), it's also good for escape, because you're no longer restricted to just running in a straight line. Honestly, i think it's the best of the three shields.

Hello everyone, I'm back! And I need to argue with you, not good start. So I think the Tide Turner is really awesome on open fielded maps but on maps like 2Fort, you suck with it, 'coz like me you sometimes, will bump into the wall instead of the enemy 'coz you just moved the mouse a bit. So in short, good good, but not on every map.

Name 'em?
Those maps count, which were directly created for a mod? 'Coz I have one favourite and one least favourite maps from the Slender Fortress mod. The favourite is the Sector Six, I love it's parkour part in the waiting room. And the least favourite is the Ward, Dr.Trager, the setted boss, always cut off my fingers, and my head, and hard to beat him even on normal.

On the first or second day I was playing TF2, I was playing Solider (I think), and an Engineer killed me. Not his Sentry, the Engineer himself. He just ran up behind me with no buildings in sight and killed me with the default Shotgun.

@Humiliating death
Maybe, the drowning as a RED Medic. The Alarm-O-Tron 5000 knew this too.
RED MEDIC – DROWNED

Third column from left, 4th and 5th row from top.

Mother of all tits. I only have one Strange – a Gore-Splattered Phlogistinator.

Well, I don't had too much time, in fact, I have more strange than time

Damn son.

Since we're talking about Stranges, here are mine:
<div class ="spoiler" title="Ill put them under a spoiler, to not clog the page with pictures"

Yay, fully coloured Objector :3

Also, if any of you wants to play on a server that's just for messing around, I can recommend the I Hear A Tonga server. I've played there once so far, with only 3 other players. But it was really fun.

Those pillars were made into a Medic Wrassling Zone.

Dunno @Socks. Currently I'm not at computer so all I could do, is telling you how my spy looks like: I'm using a Vintage Fancy Fedora as a hat and first cosmetic, a Greybanns as the second cosmetic and Dr.Whoa as third cosmetic. And if you are interested in my wepon loadout: Strange Ambassador, Strange Knife, Strange Dead Ringer, and a Strange Festive Sapper.

@Socks: B-but you have Collector's weapons… a-and an unusual… what does it take, man?!

But I did get some cool stuff today:

Tipped Lid!

Golden Garment!

Mecha-Medes!

STRANGES! (Also, I named my Sandman.)

Lol, Fallout: Equestria.

Dat caber name tho. (Oh, and the taunt.)

How lovely are my stranges, guys?

"Burnin' For You" sold the entire thing for me. I effin' love you for that.

On an unrelated note, do you guys crank any background music when playing? Here's what I was listening to during a god-like 30-point Scout life on Turbine today:

It… fit.

Oddly enough, when i get in my pyro groove, I usually play Burnin' For You. It's a tradition I started when I once wiped an entire enemy team with my backburner while the song was playing, and ever since it's been my lucky song for tf2. I named my scorch shot after it, naturally.

I'm usually playing Slender Fortress 2, so I can't listen to music or foxy will get me (yeah that foxy), but when I'm not, and lately I'm not, I listen to various songs, depends on which class I'm with, for example last time I was with Heavy, and for fun I turned on the Red Alert 3 main theme, the Soviet March, it was a russian killing rampage, with some Водка, and with the help of few good Товарищ.

my jam.

Weird question.

I'm going to star platying TF2 soon. Would a gaming laptop be able to run TF2? And, how good of a connection do you need to play? I've heard it's pretty laggy, even on amazing connections…

First welcome aboard mentlegen! Second, everything with better configs than a toaster is able to run TF2, the problem may the internet connection will be and with this….. Third, cable, even with that you gonna loose some fps and get an ultra high ping on custom maps, but on official ones, you will be fine, unless if you have 15 kbps. That's sucks.

I have an 8mbs connection.

So I'm guessing it'll run smoothly on decent servers?

Not quiet sure. I have a 30mbps and sometimes I'm lagging but not timing out from the server, however the latter could happen to you. I think better if you get a big faster net. Unless if the 8 is your bandwidth. That means you download with 8 megabyte, and not your net working with 8 megabit.

Hey, you guys hear about weapons like the Gunslinger and Axtinguisher being OP all the time, right? Well… what about the Holiday Punch? Especially with the Buffalo Steak Sandvich's speed boost, you just have to land one hit on your opponent from behind to give yourself ample time to POW, HAHA! I'd even go as far as saying it's the best Heavy unlock in the game, but what do you guys think?

@Jimmy

It's more of a joke item, to be honest.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love using it, it's fun and entertaining to kill off snipers that don't know how to un-scope, but in terms of usefulness, it kinda falters. I mean, jump and rev up the Minigun behind an enemy, and they die, even if they try to run. You're also more vulnerable when taunting with them then you are as a partially-mobile revved up Heavy, since moving at all is better than standing still. Plus, using the Buffalo Steak Sanvich takes up your secondary slot, which means you can't use the Sandvich for healing or the Shotgun for back up when you have a loyal pocket Medic and you run out of ammo.

Sandvich is definitely the best unlock in the game, by the way. Never forget that.

Not enough fast4me, as a Scout, I beat Heavies with a fish, and then "I ate your Sandviches, I ate all of 'em!", to be honest, the Holy Mackarel is another OP weapon, as you know it will display a message in the killfeed about how much times it hit you, and this distracts most of the players, especially new players, 'coz they think in the killfeed you see only your kills and deaths.

The Holy Mackerel is also probably the best anti-Dead Ringer weapon in the game.
