Black 2 is going well…
I'm already at Elesa, more like stuck..

So, I've heard mixed reactions about the newest Pokemon games. Some people are saying it's the greatest Pokemon game so far, others are saying the exact opposite. I was planning on buying Black 2 to catch up on Pokemon (the only games I've played are Yellow and Pearl), but now I'm not too sure. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Get Ruby and play the hell out of that game. Then get Crystal and do the same thing.

Also, I've heard Black/White 2 aren't very good spots to jump (back) in. If you want to go right to 5th gen, go original Black/White.

But don't ask me about gen 5, honestly. I piggybacked my copy of Diamond off of my brother's DS, due to a severe lack of owning one. I don't even have a gen 5 game, and I can't even play 4th gen now that I moved to college.

Got White 2 last night, barely made any progress though. I picked Oshawott since Tepig was pretty lackluster back in White 1.

Hahaha, oh wow, this game is awesome. It's hilarious how serious they actually take this, in such stupid ways. Ash has an attack called "Cage Toss", in which he throws a Pokeball.

They even included some memes, halfway you'll find a Mudkip using "I heard you like Mudkips".

I got White 2 and Penz0id got Black 2. As of now I'm in Chargestone Cave with an Ampharos, Koffing, Leavanny, and Dewott. Pretty fun game.

PETA is going to be sued to hell for this. Also, can't wait to play Black 2. Should be getting it within the month.

I got White 2 yesterday, though I'm not nearly as far as Wsxdas. I just finished Lon Lon Floccesy Ranch. I chose Oshawott, and so far I've also caught a Sunkern and a Riolu. Sunkern sucks, though Riolu is probably better than the starter. I'm unsure about using the event Genesect, as it would be a huge advantage/make the game too easy.

Now usually, I'm against spoilers, but…. PLEASE TELL ME THEY KEPT DOGARS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Remember how ash saved charmander and stuff, but then he turned into charmeleon and was a dick, became a bigger dick as charizard and would constantly shoot flamethrowers at him, but ash rubbed him all night to make sure he was fine after fighting poliwarth. But PETA is right, ash doesn't care about his pokemon.

Disregarding PETA's bullshit with their Black and Blue shinagins, I got Black 2 and I'm at the 3rd city that I can never spell, the one with the bug gym leader, and I must say, I really like the PokeStar studios mini games, quite the improvement over the Musicals.

Oh, and by the way, thanks PETA, you just confirmed what I knew all along, that Team Plasma in Pokemon Black/White 1 is basically your group.

The poster brings up an interesting point, do they actually kill Pokemon for fur and meat? They have been shown to eat meat (even the pokemon themselves), so what is it? (although, it could have had around about 100% less naked N for my tastes)

P-O-K-E-M-ON… Pokemon! The fact that they squeezed "on" into where "s" should be is the worst part. Also, the difficulty seems to rise much faster in B/W 2 than in previous games.

Also, if you have a Riolu you should throw out your game cartridge and jump off two bridges. Riolu/Lucario are the worst pokemons ever.

I'm just scanning the posts here, in case you are further along than me, but some things I pick up in Pokémon games are the quotes.

This quote isn't the saddest thing I've ever consumed, but sometimes, Pokémon (for all of the generations) surprises me with its depth.

The games often speak about trainers with Pokémon who have died, but I think this is the first time that a trainer speaks about how Pokémon might feel after the trainer himself has died.

After an uneasy 21 hours of solitude and confinement I have defeated the Champion in Pokemon Black 2.

On another note, my finishing team was:

Leafeon – Lvl 71
Glaceon – Lvl 69
Garchomp – Lvl 65
Lucario – Lvl 57
Keldeo – Lvl 36 (HM Slave)
Victini – Lvl 85

The above Pokemon was transferred from my origional White version into my Black 2 version.
I am a cheater, a sad cheater.

The game was great, slightly harder than the original but great.

Don't worry, I cheated to beat Ghetsis in White. That stupid Hydreigon of his I had to beat with Darkari, and sadly, it seems that Hydreigon is back, and not just with Ghetsis, but a certain someone who I won't say due to it being a huge spoiler.

Yeah, she appears to be a fun battle and then it seems you are on a death roll. I hated that dragon, first sent out too.

It doesn't help that the fact that she also uses some offensively strong Pokemon either.

Ghetsis sure was a hard battle, that's for truthin'. I had pokemons whose types should've all been perfect against him, but they just kept fainting. Ghetsis smells.

I just love my team. Seriously, I've never liked any of my teams more than this ever. Golurk and Octillery are 2 pokes I wouldn't have got to use much without sending eggs over from Black I'm glad I did – Golurk's Iron Fist ability makes the many punching moves he has access to now really powerful and Sniper with focus energy and the scope lens on Octillery can be pretty devastating. My Crobat has no item and Acrobats the living crap out of everything, my Scrafty is actually alittle faster than I thought he'd be, Gulvantula's Thunder hits almost all the time because he has compound eyes and Serperior is just fun as hell to use now that he knows Dragon Pulse and Coil.

No, I don't think you understand. I fukken love my team.

Cripes, I just finally caught a Grimer and Onix and it took a while. Hell, I think I ran into more Riolu then I did either Onix or Grimer, but I caught them both and can now move on.

There are actually 4 bridges in Unova. Also, it only has a 5% chance of appearing, so I have to catch it!

Who defeated the Champion today?

Hmm..well, I guess playing for two days straight got me to it.

I just came here to say that the latest KYM episode on Pokemon was hilarious. I don't think any KYM episode has actually made me laugh like that.

It's also pointing out the huge surge in trending Pokemon topics lately. It seems that ever since PETA pulled that stunt; Pokemon has jumped back into the internets spotlight.

I've actually now have a Level 17. Female Growlithe instead of the Purrloin in my party now.

Just beat Elesa, and man am I proud of the level of strategy I employed. So I had Dwebble, Magnemite, and Growlithe, up against her Emolga and Zebstrika. Everyone's around 5 levels below her team. Eugene the Dewbble took care of that frickin' Emolga, so I switched to Magnemite to tank her last Pokemon, Zebstrika's, Volt Switch. But then I immediately switched to Flash Fire Albert the Growlithe, because I knew she'd try a Flame Charge. Perfect prediction, nailed Zebstrika with a boosted Fire Fang, it got burned, and I cleaned up after that. It was amazing, like Indigo-League-Ash tier improbably perfect strategy.

Yeah, good job there PETA, basically what you did backfired, but honestly, is that a shock to anyone?

I finally got White 2. Im so excited. And i just cant hide it.
